1986 Ford E350 6.9 Diesel Camper Van. This is a very good diesel van which you don't see to often now days. I have had the van for approximately 2 years. It runs and drives great. As mentioned, it has a diesel motor and a c-6 automatic transmission. It will pull anything you need it to. It had a camper conversion done by the original owner. No expense was spared. He had the shop install the following options: roof A/C, roof exhaust vent, roof cargo rack, canopy, refrigerator (doesn't work currently), mini closet, gas stove, sink with water storage tank, gas heater, power converter, couch, captain chairs, two mini fans, area for porta-pottie (pottie not included with sell), hidden mini safe, sliding windows, curtains, hook-up for water hose, 110 electrical hook-up and various other improvements. I live in Texas and the van has lived its life in California prior to my ownership. This means it has no rust. The odometer shows 48,9XX miles. I believe it to be correct mileage based on the condition of the van and the inch thick booklet I have from the previous owner which shows multiple receipts for the van throughout its life which never reflects a higher mileage number than what I have listed. The only maintenance I have done to the van, other than regular tune-ups, is installed new window regulator motors, rebuilt injection pump, new injectors and glow plugs. A professional diesel shop performed the install of the motor components. I have some spare components that come with the van, such as: used injection pump, used injection lines, new starter and new fuel/lift pump. The van accelerates, brakes and turns just fine. It is a very smooth riding van. The dash A/C works well. The roof A/C works ok. I love this van and hate to sell it, but when you have 6 vehicles, something has to give! You will not be disappointed with this van and don't let this one pass you buy, idi diesel vans rarely come on the market. Please contact me should you have any questions or want to inspect the van prior to bidding. I will work with the winning bidder to be available for shipping should the buyer need it, however, shipping is the sole responsibility of the winning bidder (buyer). It has a clear Texas title. I want a happy buyer, so please ask all questions before purchasing the van, as all sales are final. As always, I reserve the right to end the auction early should some millionaire offer me triple what it is worth or I receive some other offer I can't refuse. Thank you for taking the time to review my ad and good luck bidding!

2015 Ford Mustang vs. Camaro and Challenger [w/poll]
Thu, 17 Jul 2014The horsepower wars are tightening among the Detroit Three, as the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger are getting bigger, more powerful, and yes, more fuel efficient.
That came into sharper focus this week as more information was revealed about the most insane Challenger ever - the 707-horsepower Hellcat - followed quickly by Ford's in-depth showcase of the 2015 Mustang in Dearborn.
It's shaping up to be a golden age for enthusiasts, and what's under the hood is becoming more important than ever.
Curtain officially comes down on Mercury as dealers remove signage
Mon, 03 Jan 2011The process of shutting down the Mercury is complete. Ford officially made the decision to close its mid-level brand in June of 2010. In the months that followed, Ford offered its dealers money to stop selling the cars, with production shutting down in September. The last Mercury, a Mariner, rolled off the assembly line in the beginning of October and former spokesperson Jill Wagner said her good-byes to both the car and her job. Now the last piece of the brand has come down as dealers are removing any and all Mercury signage from their lots.

Next SVT Mustang may axe Shelby name, go naturally aspirated
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Following our first glimpse at the 2015 Ford Mustang out on the road, the fine folks at Road and Track have divulged some details on what the Blue Oval's next pony might have in store. We've already seen that the car will get some very sleek, Evos-inspired design cues, and an independent rear suspension is indeed in store. These new details, however, concern the muscle car's beating heart.
For starters, the base Ford coupe is expected to carry on with V6 power, likely from the same 3.7-liter unit found in today's car. From there, R&T says the next step up will be a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, likely displacing 2.3 liters, putting out as much as 350 horsepower. Of course, a Mustang wouldn't be a Mustang without V8 thrust, and R&T states that the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 will continue on into the 2015 car, making something like 450 horsepower.
But it's at the high end of the Mustang range where things will, reportedly, get very, very interesting. Road & Track claims that the top-shelf 'Stang will likely lose the supercharger from its engine, producing a metric crap-ton of naturally aspirated grunt instead. Additionally, the SVT-fettled Mustang will likely be dropping its Shelby moniker, in favor of "a name you're familiar with," according to the magazine (you know, like, Cobra).
