Here i have a very clean 85 ford van when i got her she did not run the starter battery and solenoid need to be replaced As well as the fuel sender .
The former owner bought the van and started to make changes to his liking and didn't finish so he pulled out some of the interior and pulled out the radio . It had alot of custom lighting but all the wiring was compromised so i pulled it out .
Any interior lighting you would want needs to be redone . Everything else is fine . It has Dakota Digital gauges in the dash and they work great and look awesome !
The Rug is bright and clean through out the van .
It has a custom air brush paint job with dragons and alien people . The art work is very well done and was 5 grand alone at the time .
The body is very nice , one small spot of rust on the drivers door thats all i can see . The last owner pulled off the stainless trim panel that was there i tried to buy a replacement but they only sell the entire set for about 240.00 dollars .
So insted to putting out that 240.00 and you may not like the stainless panels and want to remove them i'll let you decide . (being the new owner )
It has a custom hood , wing and glass etching .
It has the very reliable ford 6 cyl engine that has alot of chrome on it and it's backed by a 4 speed trans .She runs and drives very good now .
It has aftermarket A/C intact .
See Video :

It realy needs a good detail and maybe some interior changes if you so chose to .
The wheels are the older style stealies that are startng to rust .

Ford-sponsored survey says a third of Brits have snapped a 'selfie' while driving [w/videos]
Fri, 08 Aug 2014Talking on the phone while driving isn't advisable, and texting while driving is downright dangerous. Considering those truths, the fact that we even need to point this out this is incredibly disturbing: taking "selfies" while behind the wheel is exceptionally stupid. But, it's a thing that a third of 18- to 24-year-old British drivers have copped to doing, according to a new study from Ford.
Ford, through its Driving Skills for Life program, surveyed 7,000 smartphone owners from across Europe, all aged between 18 and 24, and found that young British drivers were more likely to snap a selfie while behind the wheel than their counterparts in Germany, France, Romania, Italy, Spain and Belgium.
According to the study, the average selfie takes 14 seconds, which, while traveling at 60 miles per hour, is long enough to travel over the length of nearly four football fields (the Ford study uses soccer fields, but we translated it to football, because, you know, America). That's an extremely dangerous distance to not be focused on the road.
2015 Ford F-150 shaves 700 pounds, adds 2.7-liter EcoBoost [w/video]
Mon, 13 Jan 2014The Ford F-150 is one of the best selling vehicles on the planet. Considering that, one can imagine that when it comes time for a redesign, there are hardly any half measures. For its lucky thirteenth generation, Ford has gone all-in on the single most important vehicle in its portfolio, redesigning it from the ground up.
The big news is the F-150's new, lightweight, Atlas-inspired body. Ninety-three percent of that new body is made from a sort of aluminum alloy not unlike what the US military uses in its M2 Bradley fighting vehicles and Humvees, and it accounts for up to 70 percent of the F-150's 700-pound weight reduction. As a side benefit, the aluminum body should prove more resistant to dents and dings. Built Ford tough, indeed.
If you're wondering where the other 30 percent of that 700-pound weight loss went, 8.5 percent (60 pounds) came from the increased use of high-strength steel (up from 23 percent to 77 percent) in its ladder-box frame. Ford claims this steel is comparable to some of the heavy duty pickups used by its competitors, with a PSI rating of 70,000.
Ford hybrid sales rebound following MPG controversy
Sun, 31 Aug 2014Ford hybrid customers apparently have very short memories. With two EPA fuel economy reratings in the last year, sales of the C-Max, Fusion Hybrid and Lincoln MKZ haven't been too terribly dented, Ward's Auto reports.
All three vehicles saw sales dips following the August 2013 rerating, although sales of the MKZ Hybrid had begun to rebound as early as November of that year. C-Max sales, meanwhile, took slightly longer, with sales on a steadily improving course as early as February of this year.
The second rerating, in June of this year, has had an even smaller effect on the Blue Oval's hybrids. The C-Max has actually been subject to a sales increase, while both the MKZ and Fusion saw minor sales drops (less than 400 units between the two in the month following the rerating).
