 Ford F100 Truck

Selling a 1954 Ford truck.  It is a short-bed truck and has lots of good upgrades that make this more desirable than most of the other trucks.  And it's for the right price.  So here are the details..

  •  396 big block under the hood and runs good
  • Automatic transmission
  • Power steering using a Toyota ps box
  • Ford 9" rear end
  • Dual exhaust
  • New chrome bumpers
  • All glass is good and no cracks
  • Lights work
  • New 7" wide wheels with center caps and rings
  • New mirrors
  • Has complete interior with headliner
  • New tailgate chains
  • 1956 Ford Grill

If you are looking for a good cruiser and want an ever popular 50's F100, then I would strongly consider this one.  It is not a show truck.  It is a daily driver.  The paint is in average shape and has a few chips here and there, and some touch-up has beed done to protect the truck.  Mostly around the tailgate.  The pictures look great and the truck looks great too.  The truck has had some use as it should be.  These are meant to be driven, not to sit on a trailer going from show to show.  This truck is something you can drive the first day you get it and enjoy it.  If you have any questions regarding this truck, please ask before bidding.  If you want the truck inspected, do it before you buy it.   I do my best to describe things but can't think of it all.  So please call if you want to know anything.  Although this is a good running truck, I don't know about driving it long distances until you are familare with it.  It is a classic truck, and things happen.

Bill Ford augments his power by nearly doubling stake of supervoting shares

Fri, 28 Jun 2013

Bill Ford Jr. has more sway than ever over the automaker that bears his surname, as the great-grandson of Ford's founder has reportedly doubled is holdings of Class B Ford stock. According to a report from Reuters (which cites a newly discovered securities filing), he acquired some 3.7 million Class B shares from an unnamed family member.
Class B shares of Ford stock are held by descendants of Henry Ford and offer expanded voting power to their holders - Bill Ford Jr. now controls roughly 11.5 percent of the total Class B pool. Ford Jr. is also a one of five trustees that manage a voting trust that oversees the majority of these "supervoting" shares. In total, Reuters reports there are 71 million Class B shares that account for 40 percent of the voting power in the company, despite making up just 2 percent of the total volume of all Ford stock.
Ford Jr. served as Ford's CEO until 2006, when he stepped down to hire and make space for current CEO, Alan Mulally. The move to consolidate Ford family voting power, at least somewhat, is seen by many as a comforting sign with Mulally's departure from the company likely to happen in the next several years.

2015 Ford Mustang Convertible to recreate Empire State Building stunt

Tue, 25 Mar 2014

It would have been all too easy to miss the auto show debut of the 2015 Ford Mustang convertible. It was, after all, unveiled alongside its fixed-roof counterpart at the Detroit Auto Show this past January, lumping coupe and cabrio into one debut. But Ford is evidently still intent on making its new droptop stand out. The top of the Empire State Building ought to do the trick.
Automotive history buffs may recall that, 50 years ago, Ford unveiled its first Mustang convertible atop what was then the tallest building in the world, that Art Deco icon of the New York skyline. Half a century later, Ford is recreating the feat and bringing the new topless Mustang to the same observation deck on the building's 86th floor.
Getting it up there, of course, will be no easy task. While they'd usually airlift the vehicle onto the roof or lift it by crane, the spire protruding from atop the building makes approaching the narrow observation deck too dangerous, and no mobile crane can telescope the thousand-plus feet it would take to get the pony car up there.

2015 Ford Mustang: Obsessively covered [w/videos + poll]

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

Here at Autoblog, we've officially stamped December 5, 2013, as Ford Mustang Day. Sure, the sixth-generation Pony Car started leaking out onto the web days ago, but all of the official, non-embargoed hotness has come out today. And man, there's been a lot.
In terms of new car debuts, this is a really big one - not unlike all of the Corvette madness that kicked off the 2013 automotive season. So to make sure you haven't missed anything, here's a wrap-up of everything you need to know about the 2015 Ford Mustang.
