The truck is about 90% restored with some interior work remaining to be done. 292 Y-Block engine completely rebuilt with about 3000 miles on it since the rebuild. Runs on todays gasoline. It has a Chevrolet 350 transmission. Original ford rear end and brakes on the back and a Heidt front end with power disc brakes, GMC tilt steering column, power steering, Lokar shifter. 1987 Dodge Caravan bucket seats. Front fenders and running boards are fiber glass. Painless wiring harness (12 volts) with all new brake lines and fuel lines. This is not a show truck--I use the truck daily during the good weather (has not been driven in the snow or on salted roads). I have owned the truck for 14 years. Hard to find truck in any condition--would be great advertising for a business with the company name on the side or just to go to cruise nights in. How Ford hid the 2015 Mustang from spy photographers
Fri, 20 Dec 2013Now that we've finally seen the 2015 Ford Mustang, it's fun to go back and look at the spy shots we spent months pouring over, trying to dissect what was under all the camouflage. For the most part, Ford did a good job of concealing the car from spy photographers, and it released a video showing how much work went into doing so.
As crude as the Mustang's camo looked, all of the hard plastic, foam, vinyl and ratchet straps were actually created and put in place by a specific design team. The whole idea was to hide the car's identity, but it certainly ended up acting as a magnet for attention, too. According to Ford's press release, it took less than an hour for spy shots to appear online after the car was taken on public roads for the very first time - this is likely in reference to our first official spy shots of the Mustang from June, shown in the gallery below.

Ford EcoBoost smashes records at Daytona
Thu, 10 Oct 2013Some mighty machines have lapped the banks of the Daytona International Speedway over the years: thunderous V8-powered stock cars, Le Mans-conquering Group C prototypes, open-wheel Champ Cars, knee-dragging superbikes... heck, the infield lake has even hosted powerboat racing. But this - this is the fastest car ever to lap the legendary raceway.
What you're looking at is the new Daytona Prototype being prepared by Riley Technologies for the new United SportsCar Championship. The car, released just last week, is powered by a new 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 from Ford's EcoBoost family, and just obliterated the top speed at the track with a blistering 222.971 miles per hour through the traps.
That's enough to annihilate the previous record that was set, also under Ford power, by Bill Elliott while placing his Thunderbird on pole for the 1987 Daytona 500 that he would go on to win. His 210.364 mph record had stood for 26 years until now.
