1972 Ford F100 4x4 with original paint and drivetrain. Engine is a 360 with a new top end that runs good. The 4 speed transmission shifts good and the clutch works fine. The rear end is a Ford 9'' with 3.55 gears. The transfer case and front locking hubs are original and work good. The truck has factory power brakes and dealer installed power steering. These 4x4's never came with power steering from the factory, but it really makes them drive nice. The tires are almost new on the original wheels. The body is very nice for the year with no rust in the front clip or cab like most have. However there is some rust in the bed floor and the tailgate is rough. The truck was purchased new in Platte, SD and has been a ranch pickup used to fix fence its whole life which explains the body never being exposed to road salt or driven much in the winter. The truck is not perfect and does have some dents and dings, but would be a really good driver or an excellent one to restore. Forza Horizon announces January Recaro Car Pack with LFA N"urburgring Edition

NHTSA and Ford investigating steering issues in Crown Vic, Grand Marquis and Marauder
Fri, 11 Jul 2014There may be more steering woes for the Ford Crown Victoria. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened a preliminary evaluation into the Crown Vic and Mercury Grand Marquis from the 2004 to 2007 model years and the Mercury Marauder for the 2004 and 2005 model years because the steering shaft can jam. The issue could potentially affect an estimated 500,000 vehicles.
According to the regulator, there is a possibility that the driver's side heat shield for the exhaust manifold can rust, dislodge, and then wedge into the steering shaft. If this occurs, it leads to a situation where the driver can no longer control the car.
NHTSA has received five complaints of this happening, including one alleged case with an injury. In that situation, the car was driving onto the highway, lost control and rolled over. One occupant was hurt in the accident.

The news keeps pouring in from the Consumer Electronics Show now underway in Las Vegas, and the latest comes from Ford which has announced two new apps for its Sync AppLink system.
First up is a cooperative app launched by Ford together with Domino's Pizza that lets drivers of the former order pizza from the latter right from their car. The service allows those with Ford Sync AppLink in their car or truck and are registered with a Domino's Pizza Profile to place an order for their favorite pie using Dearborn's voice-recognition software for either pickup or delivery. Save your information in your Pizza Profile and it'll be sent to your house without even the push of a button, which strikes us as awesome a use of technology as we've ever seen.
