Up for sale is my 2003 Ford F150 4x4 King Ranch SuperCrew, with just under 210k mostly highway miles. Truck has been a great truck for me, I am the 2nd owner. Original owner traded it in on a new truck at his local Ford dealer. Truck has all factory options including power sunroof, power rear slider window, quad captain chairs, 6 disc player, digital climate control, heated seats, etc. Truck also has tinted windows and Jason Industries fiberglass cap, with carpeted headliner option.
Service/upgrades done include climate control head unit replaced 1/09 (vac leak in old unit), trans/diff flush and fuel system cleaning @ 148k, Accel high perf ignition coils with new Fram Extreme Perf plugs @ 150k mi, and front wheel hubs/bearings in the last month. Brakes have been done in the last year front and rear, with new rotors at that time. Michelin tires have plenty of tread left. Always used synthetic or synthetic blend on oil changes.
Paint is in remarkable condition for its age! Excellent shine, very few dents or scratches. There is some rust on the bottom of the inside of the doors (see picture), but nothing shows on the outside. Interior is in great condition as well, with one small wear spot on drivers' seat.
Only issues I am aware of: does have a small rear main oil leak (might have a nickel sized oil spot in garage), cd player sometimes does not eject disc right away, and rear slider window switch is temperamental sometimes. Other than that, everything works fine. Truck was involve in 2 tiny accidents in the last few years, with front valence shattered in one (replaced valence and fog light), and someone clipped the rear bumper on the passenger side (never replaced bumper). No issues with either incident, have pictures of damage before repairs. Wasn't sure if they would show up on report or not.
I am selling because of a new job. Had planned on driving the wheels off this thing, but no room to keep her. Truck is obviously sold "as is", and I do have it listed locally, so I reserve the right to end the listing early. Email me if you want any additional pictures, or have any questions. Reserve is set reasonably, serious bidders only, please! $500 deposit due via Paypal within 24 hrs of auction ending, would prefer cashiers' check for balance upon pickup of truck.

Ford opens the doors on its Swedish rally skunkworks
Fri, 19 Sep 2014It's always amazing to see how different kinds of racecars are made. Formula One racers are often constructed in modern architectural marvels that hint at some of the cutting-edge technology going into the racing. Conversely, rallying is all about sliding around on a varied course as fast as possible, but it often leaves a vehicle caked in mud. So it makes some sense Olsbergs MSE, or simply (OMSE) rally car shop in Nynashamn, Sweden, shows technological sophistication in a more down-to-earth setting. It builds Ford Fiesta ST racers for Global Rallycross there, and this new video gives viewers a tour through the work.
Former rally driver Andreas Eriksson runs OMSE. These days instead of racing, he and the company's 46 employees are building Ford racers from scratch. A ton of work goes into constructing each one, and according to Eriksson, it takes 400 hours to complete each body. At times, things are so busy that some of the technicians live in the shop in apartments that are on premises. There's even a restaurant to keep them fed. Sadly the dyno room is empty during this visit, though.
By the time OMSE is done, a rallycross car might resemble a Fiesta ST on the outside, but as you see in the video, it's a completely different beast underneath. Check out the work it takes to build one of them, and scroll down to read more about it in the official release.
2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost flogged and analyzed by Ignition
Mon, 13 Oct 2014Aside from the way it looks and perhaps its independent rear suspension, the biggest bit of news on the 2015 Mustang may be the inclusion of its 2.3-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine. That blown mill marks the first time since the Mustang SVO of the '80s that a turbo has been fitted under the engine of Ford's pony car.
The Mustang EcoBoost is the subject of the latest episode of Ignition from Motor Trend, giving us a great look at the technical, nitty-gritty side of the turbocharged coupe. Covering it from bow to stern, host Carlos Lago walks us through the boosted Ford before taking to the track for some driving impressions, with particular praise given to the low-end grunt of the 2.3-liter mill.
Check out the full video and then let us know which 2015 Mustang has your interest piqued the most - the EcoBoost four, the 5.0L V8 or the entry-level V6.
Subaru Legacy pitted against Roadkill project cars
Fri, 05 Sep 2014There's an evergreen debate among auto enthusiasts about whether they would prefer to have the latest and greatest car of today or a certified classic from yesteryear. What if you had to further define that, though, and the choice was between a brand new 2015 Subaru Legacy or a turbocharged Datsun 240Z with a hatch that wouldn't close? Roadkill aimed to find out that and more in one of its best videos to date.
According to the hosts, Subaru came to them, handed over some money and challenged Roadkill's project cars against its latest Legacy. The result is every bit as good (or better) than any automotive-themed show you could find on television.
Things start simple with a figure-eight race in a rodeo arena with the Subaru taking on Roadkill's 1968 Ford Ranchero, originally built for ice racing. From there the Legacy races a 1968 Dodge Charger with no windows around and off-road rally stage. Finally, the Subie goes head-to-head against the Rotsun, the aforementioned turbocharged 240Z, through an abandoned neighborhood. Plus, there's a bonus drag race challenging them all.
