Once featured in Street Trucks Magazine (I may have located a copy, if I can get my hands on it I'll include it with the purchase) Originally I purchased this truck for my son, without going into the details that fell through. Now he's getting married and I need to sell it to help pay for some wedding obligations and free up some money for MY project car. I have been working on bringing this truck up to par for months, It was never in bad shape just somewhat taken apart for further customization and the paint needed freshening up. I think it has turned out beautiful. The truck sits all the way on the ground when dropped, around 12" off the ground when lifted, very drivable. Features a 3 1/2 inch body drop, hand built back half frame, C'ed for rear end clearance with a 4 link set up. Shaved door handles, gas door and tailgate. Raised bed with custom painted "wood grain look" in the bed. Kind of a dark charcoal (almost black) custom paint on top, darkish red on the bottom, marbled tribal flames. Custom grill, chrome high rise intake and alternator, matching paint on engine parts. Rolling on Bentchi 22" wheels. Leather and suede custom interior, Kenwood stereo, Alpine amp, PG speakers. Also I added new Viair compressors, new rear bags, braided lines (plastic to the front) I don't know a ton about air ride so I may not be able to answer all questions, but I did learn a bunch on this and can't wait to do another. Also "if" ever the battery goes dead, (so you're not locked out) I added exterior battery posts, hidden in front bumper, red side has been touched with black to hide it since the pictures were taken. There are some security features I'll share with buyer (so they stay secret) after sale is complete. The truck has 104k miles on it, but obviously has been taken well care of and acts like it will run forever. The more I drive it the more I enjoy it, I've taken it to two local shows since I've got in running and have struggled weather to keep it or not, so with a deep breath....here it goes.

Ford starting up 2.0L EcoBoost engine production in Ohio
Fri, 22 Feb 2013Joe Hinrichs, Ford's President of The Americas (pictured above), announced today that in late 2014, the automaker will be building the 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder at its Cleveland Engine Plant, a move requiring a $200-million investment and the hiring of 450 new employees. European-built Ford products will continue to source this engine from the Valencia, Spain plant where all of these EcoBoost four-cylinder engines are currently built, and the new Cleveland engines will be used for all North American-made models.
Ford is planning to build its popular EcoBoost engines regionally to maximize production capacity and meet customer demand. Last year, Ford sold 334,364 vehicles with EcoBoost engines in the US alone, and that number is expected to swell to more than 500,000 by the end of this year, with global sales expected to total 1.6 million. By 2015, Ford says that 95 percent of its nameplates will offer an EcoBoost engine.
One such vehicle that could be adding an EcoBoost engine, according to Automotive News, is none other than the 2015 Ford Mustang. The report says that Ford could use either the 2.0-liter EcoBoost or an upcoming 2.3-liter EcoBoost in the sixth-generation pony car.
Ford car-camo artist works his craft on Australia's new Falcon XR8
Fri, 25 Jul 2014Ford is among the kings of concealment when it comes to test cars. On one recent Mustang SVT mule, the automaker went to the extreme of putting baffles over the exhausts to hide how many there were. Sounds like a lot of work, right? In a new video, the Blue Oval has decided to take fans behind the scenes to show them what it takes to camouflage a prototype. In this case the subject was the recently unveiled 2014 Falcon XR8 for Australia.
Ford's prototype build coordinator Down Under has the very appropriate name of Neil Trickey, and it's his job to obfuscate the important bits of test cars to keep them out of spy shooters' camera lenses. Trickey calls his job a "dark art," and he shows off some of the tricks of his trade in the video. It turns out that the fabric we often see on mules is a type of lycra, but his team isn't above getting out a can of spray paint to conceal parts, too.

How the Ford Shelby Mustang came to be
Fri, 20 Sep 2013Even as rumors swirl that the next-generation of high-performance Ford Mustang will drop the Shelby name, Ford has released a short video telling how the legend of the Shelby Mustang came to be. In its latest installment of its video series entitled Mustang Countdown, Ford dug up some footage from Carroll Shelby to give a little insight into how this automotive icon was created.
While it's definitely interesting to hear the late legend tell the story in his own words (including numerous references to the 1964 Mustang as a "secretary's car"), it's also pretty funny learning exactly how the Shelby GT350 got its name in the first place - a name allegedly making a comeback as the replacement for the current Shelby GT500. As development work continues on the 2015 Ford Mustang, the Shelby video posted below shows that the automaker is always looking at its past - even as it looks ahead to the future.
