2005 f150 5.4 4x4 fx4 ftx package. This is a very rare package, only 1 was allowed to be sold per yr within 100 mile radius. Custom pkg that ford had Tuscany trucks do when new. Has all options avail in a fx4 incl sunroof. The ftx pkg from Tuscany includes, leather with suade seats with red embroidery, titanium steering wheel, premium sound with sub woofer, amp, 6 disc CD player. Dual exhaust, dual DVD player in head rests, power seats, heated seats, raised fiberglass hood, chrome grill and mirrors, also has fiberglass hard tonneau cover (not in pic, red), per rear slider window, chrome steps, red custom bumper covers, 20" wheels with brand new tires ( I also have stock set of 18" steel wheels with 70% tires), spray in bed liner, bed extender.
The custom pkg new was 18,000.
The whole truck new retailed for 55,000.
The bad- rear bumper cover has hole from backing up to trailer right next to hitch, exhaust manifold just went but I just bought stainless headers to replace with. Just not on yet. This could be worked into a possible deal. front brakes are starting to pulsate, probably needs new rotors. Also the tonneau spoke about above has several small scratches from the wind blowing it onto a gravel driveway when it was off the truck, haven't touched it up yet or done any of the repairs above so i could keep it at a low price for such a rare truck. i can do all the repairs for additional money. truck has a shimmy at 70-75 mph since i got new tires, prob not balanced well as its hard to balance aftermarket universal rims.
This truck is in great condition (besides the flaws listed).
Tinted windows, rain deflectors, super chips power control, cold air intake by k&n.
priced for quick sale before I go trade it in. 16500no low ballers please

Ford considering return to Le Mans with new EcoBoost LMP2

    Mon, 21 Jul 2014

If you want to see a Ford racing prototype, you need look no further than the United SportsCar Championship, where the Blue Oval fields two Daytona Prototypes powered by an EcoBoost-branded 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. But according to the latest rumors, that may not be enough for Ford, which has as much brand to promote overseas as it does back home.
That could be why Racer magazine is reporting that Ford may be poised to return to Le Mans in the coming years. As we all know, Ford competed at Le Mans in the mid-through-late '60s, bringing home four consecutive overall wins with the legendary GT40. The new program would not, according to Racer, seek to relive those glory days, but would instead compete for class wins in the LMP2 category.
Currently, LMP2 regulations are somewhat split between the United SportsCar Championship in North America on the one hand and ACO-sanctioned series like the European Le Mans Series, Asian Le Mans Series and FIA World Endurance Championship on the other, but plans are underway for the regulations to be unified in time for the 2017 season. That could be when Ford is targeting its return, allowing it to compete on both sides of the Atlantic to maximize its exposure.

XCAR stages epic drag race between Ford GT40, GT70 and GT

    Mon, 19 Aug 2013

XCAR has put together what it believes is a first - a drag race between Ford's legendary, Le Mans-winning GT40, the more recent GT supercar it inspired and the little-known GT70 rally car. The three mid-engined monsters were all built for very different purposes, and not surprisingly, they come to battle with very different powertrains.
The GT40 is powered by a thumping, naturally aspirated V8. This example, which looks like a Mark IV model, is likely powered by a 7.0-liter engine, although it's not entirely clear how much power it's putting down. The GT70, meanwhile, was Ford's response to the Lancia Stratos. Considering that the Lancia is one of the greatest rally cars in history and many of you are probably just hearing of the GT70 for the first time, you can imagine how much success Ford had with it. Only six were produced before a change in regulations doomed this mid-engined rally car.
The Ford GT, meanwhile, doesn't really need an introduction. 550 horsepower is on offer from a 5.4-liter, supercharged V8, which keeps the GT competitive even against more modern supercars. 60 miles per hour arrives in well under four seconds while the top speed sits at 212 mph. Not bad for a car that went out of production in 2006.

2015 Ford Mustang stars in bizarrely awesome '80s aerobics video

    Wed, 30 Apr 2014

For reasons we can't comprehend, here's a music video starring the all-new, 2015 Ford Mustang and a number of dancers dressed and styled in the most stereotypically 1980s way possible. The dancers then take part in a male-versus-female dance off. Again, we've no idea why it exists.
It's weird, and for the second time in two weeks, we're sat at our computer wondering, "What are we watching?" That said, it does show the new Mustang from a number of angles, and it's one of the first car-related YouTube videos we've seen that's available in a 4K, ultra-high-def stream.
Take a look below, and let us know what you think in Comments.
