This truck is exceptional. Box has small scratches and a few little dents. I have taken pictures from as many angles as I can to capture the dents and the fact that this truck is straight. All the original center caps and mud flaps are still on the truck since he was very careful about who he even let work on it or put tires on it. Front brakes have less than 1000 miles on new rotors and pads. Transmission fluid, transmission filter, engine oil, & filter has been changed. This baby is ready to go. Stored indoors it's entire life. This was my dad's dream truck that he bought when he retired and sold the farm in 1998. He is now 82 and has no need for such a truck.
You won't see one of these 7.3 body style trucks in this kind of condition with low miles as well as having a very desirable color. If you have any questions, I do not answer emails, please call me at 509-529-7780 or on my cell at 509-200-9460. No Dealers, tire kickers, low ballers or trades. Serious Buyers with money in hand. Forgot to mention that this truck has key-less entry. Keys to the dry box are also included as well as 3 truck keys and 1 key FOB. Other key FOB's are available on eBay($15-$40) and are easily programmed by you without any equipment as long as the original is present.
This is a used truck with all it's original equipment and paint. It is not a show truck and it does have little rock chips here and there along with some light scratches at different parts of the body. If this truck was any other color than black you would never see the imperfections, but black hides nothing. This truck carries no warranty of any kind, but is available for inspection and this is encouraged. It is the responsibility of the buyer to inspect the vehicle in person or arrange to have a 3rd party inspect it on their behalf.

Ford taken to task by gov't for Chicken Tax end-around
Mon, 23 Sep 2013Ford is in a bit of a pickle for importing and selling Turkey-built Transit Connect cargo vans as passenger vehicles in the US, then converting them to commercial-vehicle specification stateside in an effort to bypass a 25-percent tax imposed on vehicles imported for commercial use. Automakers are required to pay a 2.5-percent tax on imported passenger vehicles.
The Blue Oval got into trouble for this in a January ruling in which U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials asked Ford to stop the practice of importing the Transit Connect vehicles with passenger seats, then removing and shredding them. Now Automotive News reports that Ford is appealing the ruling. The 25-percent "Chicken Tax," as the tariff is often called, is 50 years old and was enacted as a response to a German tariff on chickens. Like Ford, Chrysler bypasses the higher tariff, but it does so in a different manner. It partially disassembles Sprinter cargo vans before shipping them to the US, then rebuilds them at a plant in South Carolina.
But the ruling against Ford's strategy states that it "serves no manufacturing or commercial purpose" and is there to "manipulate the tariff schedule," Automotive News reports. As Ford's appeal goes through, it is importing the Transit Connect and paying the higher tax, hoping for a favorable outcome and planning to build the next-generation Transit Connect, which it plans to launch before the end of the year, in Spain.
US Air Force Thunderbirds Mustang fetches $400K at auction
Wed, 07 Aug 2013For the last six years, Ford has created a special version of the Mustang with a military aviation theme, and then donated the car to the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) to be auctioned off at the annual AirVenture event, also known as The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration. The money raised goes to the EAA Young Eagles program to inspire the "aviation pioneers of tomorrow," and this year's 2014 Ford Mustang GT US Air Force Thunderbirds Edition was won with a final bid of $398,000.
Celebrating 60 years of the USAF's Thunderbirds, this Mustang GT is the only one of its kind with a paint job matching the Thunderbirds' F-16 Falcon jets and some Ford Racing performance added on for good measure. Including this car, Ford has helped raise around $2.3 million for the charity with the biggest auction price coming from the first year of the program, the F-22 Raptor-inspired Mustang AV8R from 2008, which sold for $500,000.
Ex-PR chief Vines accuses Ford of bugging cars, phones
Fri, 24 Oct 2014Jason Vines, former head of communications at Ford among other automakers, is accusing the Blue Oval of bugging his company phone and his car during the Firestone tire recall for the Explorer in 2001. The allegations have come to light in Vines' upcoming book What Did Jesus Drive? Crisis PR in Cars, Computers and Christianity.
According to The Detroit News, which has an advance copy of the book, Vines (pictured above) claims that after leaving the company, someone with security within Ford advised him that he had been bugged around the time of the recall. The allegations don't stop there, though. Vines further contends that he might not have been the only one to get this treatment, noting that then-general counsel John Rintamaki also believed he was being listened to.
According to The Detroit News, even if it had been a company phone, recording Vines without his knowledge still would have been a felony under Michigan law.
