It is a 2002 7.3 power stroke diesel that runs great. I would drive it any where with no worries. The fuel sending unit is out and is a easy fix. I just dont have the time or money to repair it. but it still runs great. i used it primarily as a fishing truck but with a little tlc it can be turned into a show truck. I have a extra tire for it as well. It could also use some fender flares, but once again I lack the funds for that project. my loss is your gain. email for more pics. This truck is also for sale locally, so place your bids soon....."

This is a great strong truck. I cant drive down the highway without people taking pictures of it. When I stop at stores people always ask to take pictures with it. I am going to hate to sell it but due to major changes in my life, I have no choice. It is a 2002 ford fx4 with a custom lift. Very stable on and off road. The rear drive shaft is custom, however the front needs to be streched. not very expensive to do. It has a cold strong a/c and a jvc indash dvd player. It also has remote start and alarm. I have this truck listed locally so I have the right to end auction early. The truck has cloth seats that are great shape. The carpet and headliner are in great condition as well. For some reason my pictures would not download on ebay so email or message me for more!!!! any time of day.... REMEMBER THIS TRUCK IS LIFTED 20" AND HAS 49" TIRES. YOU SHOULD CHECK WITH YOUR STATE LAWS BEFORE PURCHASING. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING OR LOCAL PICK UP. dO NOT FEAR DRIVING THIS TRUCK ANY WHERE IN THE U.S.A. FROM MY HOUSE TO YOURS.

William Clay Ford Sr. dead at 88

Sun, 09 Mar 2014

William Clay Ford, retired vice chairman of Ford Motor Company and the last surviving grandchild of company founder Henry Ford, died this morning after a bout with pneumonia. He was 88.
Ford spent 57 years with his grandfather's company, joining the board of directors in 1948 before graduating from college. Ford also held a position as chairman of the design committee, as well as the chairman of the executive committee and vice chairman of the Board of Directors during his tenure with the company. In a 2013 Detroit Free Press story, retired CFO Allan Gilmour said Ford had an eye for design, and was once able to pick out when a fiberglass model of a Ford Contour was asymmetrical, off by an inch on one side. He retired and assumed the position of director emeritus in 2005.
"My father was a great business leader and humanitarian who dedicated his life to the company and the community," said Bill Ford, Jr., Ford's current executive chairman. "He also was a wonderful family man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, yet he will continue to inspire us all."

Ford evaluating new Fiesta RS?

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Word coming in from across the pond has it that Ford is working on developing the business case to create a new Fiesta RS. The development is encouraged by the extremely positive reception the existing Fiesta ST has garnered to date, and the emergence of the above-pictured Fiesta RS WRC rally car, but it'll take more than goodwill to make a more extreme version a reality.
According to Auto Express, a new roadgoing Fiesta RS would almost certainly be based closely on the ST version, albeit with some vital differences. Its 1.6-liter turbo four would be increased from 180 horsepower to somewhere around 230 hp, and that powertrain would be accompanied by lightweight alloys inside blistered wheel arches, a stripped-out interior and possibly lightweight bodywork.
The vehicle's approval would reportedly require a strong business case in Europe, and not just in the UK where Ford hot hatches traditionally enjoy a strong following. It's unclear whether the Fiesta RS would potentially make the transatlantic voyage to American showrooms, but between it and the larger Focus RS, hopefully the Blue Oval wouldn't leave its home market out of the action altogether.

Ford 1.0L EcoBoost 3-Cylinder: Autoblog Technology of the Year award finalist

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

As the old saying goes, "There's no replacement for displacement." But these days, many automakers are launching powerful, downsized engines that offer similar or better power output than their predecessors, all while offering improvements in fuel economy and emissions. These days, we're seeing automakers replacing eight-cylinder engines with turbocharged sixes, and the naturally aspirated six-cylinder motors are being phased out in favor of potent turbo fours. But Ford has gone even smaller, offering a three-cylinder, turbocharged engine with one single liter of displacement.
Sure, three-cylinder engines aren't anything new - they've been offered around the globe for ages. But Ford's EcoBoost 1.0L powerplant is perhaps the best application the Autoblog team has tested. Gone are the triple-cylinder complaints of yore - this engine doesn't sound anemic or buzzy, and there's healthy power output on tap. In fact, compared to the 1.6-liter inline-four that Ford also offers in the Fiesta, the 1.0-liter is more powerful, while boasting an impressive 45 miles per gallon on the highway.
This engine has already received numerous accolades, including winning the International Engine of the Year award in 2012, 2013 and 2014. The 1.0L EcoBoost will be available in the refreshed 2015 Ford Focus here in the US.
