With that said, compared to other equivalent trucks on the market this one is very nice. You can see in the picture the truck has little dings and scratches here and there. I say this for the sake of full disclosure but when you see the truck in person no major damage pops out at you. Just stuff from regular use. The interior is in great condition. I see a lot of used trucks with foam coming out the seats and such. This truck has nothing of the sort. The seat still has all its foam and the dash isn't all cracked up. Overall its a very solid truck."

Up for sale is a 2008 Ford F-250 Superduty XL 2WD 5.4L gas engine white with beige interior. Truck was bought new and exclusively run with Mobil 1 full synthetic. Truck has 173k miles and was very meticulously maintained. Have had absolutely no major mechanical issues since it was new. Only thing that was ever done to the truck was two coil packs replaced and an O2 sensor. Truck is very solid and shifts firm. I just had a brake job done on the truck.

Truck has a bed liner, Kobalt toolbox, and a bully dog programmer. You can see it mounted on the dash in the picture below. Programmer increased fuel mileage by a few MPG's. It goes along free with the sale.

Which is more fuel efficient, driving with a pickup's tailgate up or down?

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

Thanks to the smoke wand in the wind tunnel, you can actually see the difference in our video.
Should you drive with your pickup truck's tailgate up or down? It's an age-old controversy that's divided drivers for decades. Traditionalists will swear you should leave the tailgate down. Makes sense, right? It would seem to let the air flow more cleanly over the body and through the bed. But there's also a school of thought that argues trucks are designed to look and operate in a specific manner, and modern design techniques can help channel the airflow properly. So don't mess with all of that: Leave the tailgate up.

2015 Ford Mustang: Obsessively covered [w/videos + poll]

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

Here at Autoblog, we've officially stamped December 5, 2013, as Ford Mustang Day. Sure, the sixth-generation Pony Car started leaking out onto the web days ago, but all of the official, non-embargoed hotness has come out today. And man, there's been a lot.
In terms of new car debuts, this is a really big one - not unlike all of the Corvette madness that kicked off the 2013 automotive season. So to make sure you haven't missed anything, here's a wrap-up of everything you need to know about the 2015 Ford Mustang.

Ford Mondeo classes up with premium Vignale trim

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

Back in the day, Vignale was a carrozzeria of the highest order, alongside the likes of Pininfarina, Bertone and Zagato. But like Giugiaro-ItalDesign and Ghia, it has since been subsumed into a larger auto group. Ford ended up with it under its umbrella when it took over De Tomaso, and has since used the moniker for a number of concept cars. Now the name is back in the form of a new upscale sub-brand for the European market.
The first new model to receive the Vignale treatment is the Mondeo, which Ford unveiled here at the Frankfurt Motor Show in both sedan and wagon forms. Positioned above the Titanium trim, the Vignale model gets such special touches as chrome trim and a quilted leather interior, Vignale badges replacing any mention of the Mondeo on which it's based. It also gains an ownership experience - including free car washes for life! - to befit the upscale positioning.
Under the bright spotlights above the show floor, the Nocciola metallic brown paint might not be the most photogenic, but will likely give the Vignale edition a more premium look when it hits European dealers and roads in 2015. Whether it'll be worth however much Ford asks for it, however, remains to be seen. Scroll down below for the official press release.
