1995 Ford F350 4 wheel drive 8' Mason Dump with I PAC toolbox . Maryland state inspected in 2011 460 gas engine c6 auto trans 6 new tires 5000 Miles at the most. 8.5' fisher plow with wings Beacon light Radio Dump Toolbox I replaced the fenders but they still need paint. I was going to paint the whole thing blue like the bed bed but got to busy. great truck for plowing. short and 4x4 and a bed to haul snow. it would make someone a good little truck

On Mar-18-14 at 15:09:53 PDT, seller added the following information:

Wanted to add a few pictures.  The toolbox on the drivers side does shut but the very bottom panel is rusted pretty bad.  The rest of the box is in pretty good shape.  I planned on cutting it out and welding in a new piece of sheet metal so it doesn't get any worse.

Also added some pictures of the inside and the motor.

The plow on the truck has a pump that is run off of a belt from the engine rather than an electrical connection.  This has never failed and I wished my other plows were like this.  It is very simple.  You do not have solenoids going out or the numerous other problems with the other electric/hydraulic plow systems.

The truck also has a pintle hitch with a 2 5/16 ball on it.

*The miles are 141,740.

I also added some pictures of the frame and the dump pump and cylinder.  Very strong pump and cylinder.  Never had any problems with it.

The truck also has the wider nice tow mirrors.

As stated above the truck has 6 new tires.  The back are a mud terrain and the front are an all terrain tire.  Just like new.

Ford Transit gets outfitted for prison duty

Wed, 24 Sep 2014

Between the Taurus-based Police Interceptor, the Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility and the F-150 and Expedition special service vehicles, Ford has no lack of offerings for law enforcement. And now it has one more in the form of the new Transit PTV.
Based on the fullsize Transit van, the Prisoner Transport Vehicle can move as many as 12 prisoners in three separate compartments between detention facilities. Created in collaboration with Pennsylvania-based Havis Prisoner Transport Solutions and with input from Ford's Police Advisory Board, the Transit PTV takes advantage of the Transit's considerable configuration options that include three roof heights, two wheelbases, three lengths and four body-styles - not to mention engine options that include the flex-fuel 3.7-liter V6, 3.5-liter EcoBoost and 3.2-liter Power Stroke diesel.
"Transit PTV is the latest example of Ford's deep commitment to helping provide law enforcement agencies with capable vehicles. This concept proves Transit is upfit-ready and designed to Built Ford Tough standards," said Jonathan Honeycutt, Ford police marketing manager. "Many Police Advisory Board members have had the chance to drive this vehicle and they are excited about it. This new vehicle is tough, smart and efficient - ideal for the needs of law enforcement agencies."

Former Ford CEO Alan Mulally lands on Google board

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

Former Ford CEO Alan Mulally often referred to the Blue Oval as a technology company when he led the automaker. Now he'll be offering guidance to a different kind of technology firm: Google.
Mulally was appointed to Google's board of directors July 9, and late Tuesday, it was announced that he will serve on the company's audit committee. The veteran executive led Ford from September 2006 until he retired in June, succeeded by Mark Fields.
While Mulally will act as a board member - rather than in a managerial role - his presence adds credibility to Google's recently announced plans to produce an autonomous car. The ambitious program calls for 100 prototypes to begin testing later this summer. Production of the car is rumored to be in collaboration with a Detroit area performance company, Roush.
