This truck has 121K + miles. It is in good shape.  There are some small dents on the front bumper and a few scratches here and there. The interior is in good shape other than a small rip about two inches long in the back of the passenger front seat(See Picture). It has a gooseneck ball and a fifth wheel hitch that will come with it. A new injector control module at 116k miles and the egr valve was cleaned. I changed the transmission filter and fluid at 120k and added Lucas oil transmission fluid to it and this torq shift tranny shifts smooth as silk. The engine runs strong and it drives great. Pull out trailer tow mirrors and plenty of cab room on this crew cab. It changed the engine oil and filter changed at 120k. This truck is ready to pull. The bed is rhino lined. Could deliver on request for a cost of fuel and flight. This truck is by no means a show truck, but it is in good shape. There is a small cut in fender above the tail pipe(see picture)No oil leaks or any other kinds of leaks. The interior lights for the doors being open work, but when you flip the manual switch the lights don't always come on. You can tap on them and they will come on sometimes. All lights on exterior work. There is a small cut in the rear passenger side plastic down by your feet. (see picture) There is some scratches on the passenger side dually fender(see picture). The truck runs perfect and I lowered the price for the last time. Any other questions let me know.

Ford and GM link bonus checks to quality scores

Tue, 29 Apr 2014

The poor first quarter earnings of Ford and General Motors are having an effect all the way up the food chain. Both automakers struggled with recalls in the first three months of the year, and, according to The Detroit News, they have responded by increasing the percentage of bonuses tied to vehicle quality for salaried workers, including top executives.
GM announced that 25 percent of bonuses (up from 10 percent) for all salaried workers would be tied to its vehicle quality standards. The automaker revealed in its financial report that it spent $1.3 billion on recall-related repairs in the first quarter, and net income was down 86 percent.
Ford also increased the quality proportion of bonuses for about 26,000 salaried workers all the way up to CEO Alan Mulally from 10 percent to 20 percent. The company announced in its report that the amount paid out in warranty and recall claims was about $400 million higher than expected in the first quarter. Its net income fell 39 percent from the previous year. "The change reflects how critical quality is to our overall business," said spokesperson Todd Nissen speaking to Autoblog.

Ford spotted testing new Focus RS at the Nurburgring

Thu, 26 Jun 2014

Ford is expected to be launching a revised version of the Focus ST soon, but the latest snapshots from our spy photographers at the Nürburgring suggest that the Blue Oval is already working on an even more potent example: the new Focus RS.
Though the partially disguised test mule is wearing an ST badge (along with a Dewey sticker that makes us wonder what adventures Huey and Louie are up to and what manner of duck-tail rear spoiler they may be wearing), there are several tell-tale signs that something else is afoot here. There's a larger front air dam, bigger brake calipers, dual exhaust tips (instead of the central exhaust on the ST) and a reshaped wing protruding from the trailing edge of the roof.
That may all be well and fine, but what's under the hood? We don't know yet for sure, but word has it that Ford is preparing to port over the 2.3-liter turbo four offered in the new Mustang, where it packs 305 horsepower and almost as much torque - potentially retuned to produce even more for the top-of-the-line Focus, which could channel it all to the front wheels like the last model or pack an all-wheel drive system. The Global C platform on which the Focus is based does, after all, also underpin AWD models like the Ford Escape and Lincoln MKC.

Ford board pushing Mulally for decision amidst fears story is drowning out other news

Thu, 12 Dec 2013

Automakers and their executives rarely like to divulge information regarding future goings on, but the board of directors at Ford sound like they're getting a little antsy about chief executive officer Alan Mulally and his plans for 2014.
According to Reuters, as news of Mulally's possible departure to Microsoft continues to swirl, Ford's board is looking to push the affable executive to make a decision about his future sooner rather than later. Apparently, the board is growing concerned that this will-he/won't-he drama may end up distracting the media from covering Ford's other big news events next year - items like the debut of key all-new products like the Mustang and F-150.
So far, the picture for Mulally's eventual successor remains fuzzy, but it's understood that the leading candidate remains the company's chief operating officer, Mark Fields. Just recently, we heard that Mulally will stay until the end of 2014, but a few months ago, Ford seemed open to the idea of him stepping down earlier than that.
