2004 F350 CREW CAB 4X4 LONG BED 6.0 DIESEL. I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK BRAND NEW FROM MY LOCAL FORD DEALER IN CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. SHE HAS BEEN BABIED AND IN OUR FAMILY FOR A LONG TIME. I THINK ITS TIME FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO ENJOY HER SINCE I AM GOING TO GET SOMETHING A LITTLE SMALLER SINCE ITS JUST ME AND MY DAUGHTER. WHEN I BOUGHT THE TRUCK I THOUGHT THE COLOR WAS ODD DUE TO MOST OF THEM I HAVE SEEN ARE WHITE. THE REASON FOR THE LOW MILES IS BECAUSE WHEN I BOUGHT IT I HAD 3 OTHER TRUCKS AND THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO AFFORD ANOTHER KING RANCH SO SHE GOT TREATED LIKE A BABY. IT HAS BEEN STORED IN A CLIMATE CONTROLLED GARAGE. IT HAS SEEN RAIN ONLY ONE TIME BECAUSE MY DAUGHTER WANTED ME TO DRIVE HER TO KINDERGATEN IN IT(IT WAS SPRINKLING AND I ALMOST SAID NO). Ford readying 2015 F-150 drift truck for SEMA
Sun, 19 Oct 2014Between the Mustangs you'd find in Formula D and the Fiestas in the Global and World rallycross championships, there's no shortage of Ford drift cars on the scene. But at the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the Blue Oval automaker intends to show off a different kind of drift machine.
Created in collaboration with driftmeister Vaughn Gittin, Jr., this custom F-150 has been designed for "on- and off-road capabilities, as well as drifting and jumping." It's got a suspension with components from Kibbetech King and Air Lift Performance to give it 12 inches of travel and comes packed with 5 Recaro seats. Other details remain limited, but if the rendering above is anything to go by, it ought to be pretty awesome.
Alongside the Gittin truck, Ford will also be showcasing another F-150 designed together with freestyle motorcross rider Brian Deegan, packing the 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine and a long list of enhancements. Between these two trucks, Ford hopes to extend its winning streak for the Hottest Truck award that it's taken four years running now. Feel free to read more in the press release below.
Ford readying Ranger-based Everest SUV?
Fri, 21 Feb 2014Way back in August, we showed you a Ford concept for the Australian market called the Everest. Now, we can show you that work on the new Ranger-based SUV is well under way.
At this stage, it's still quite clearly a mule (note the misalignment of the front and rear doors), wearing the Ranger's front end and the rump of Ford's overseas Territory crossover. The wheelbase is shorter than a Ranger, according to our spy photographers, which strikes us as somewhat odd for a more passenger-oriented vehicle. Disc brakes should be fitted at all four corners, while the new SUV, which will almost certainly wear the Everest name, should sport a new rear suspension.
In terms of looks, we're expecting the Everest Concept to inform the appearance of the production model. Naturally, there will also be some interior tweaks, particularly around the dashboard, which is covered in these photos.
Hear the 2015 Mustang GT V8 roar for the first time
Wed, 26 Jun 2013Our combined knowledge of the 2015 Ford Mustang continues to deepen, as spy shooters have begun to compile video and audio of the upcoming sixth-generation car.
Case in point is this latest series of video clips, which not only gives us a great vantage point of the Mustang in motion, but also allows us to hear the Ford V8 engine and exhaust. After perusing the aural delights of this short video, which, admittedly, doesn't catch the Mustang GT at full song, we can at least say that the throaty exhaust isn't disappointing.
Chances are good that the 2015 Mustang GT will debut with some version of the current (and excellent) Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, though we're unclear as to whether or not the motor has been massaged for its next-gen debut, or what may have been done to exhaust plumbing. At this point, we're just happy to hear the pony run. Scroll below to hear for yourself.
