I am selling my dads truck he is 70 and my mom and him are too poor of health to go camping anymore so they just don't use the truck. They have had it 2 1/2 years and haven't even put thier 5th wheel hitch in it.,

It is a 2007 powerstoke 6.0L diesel with 83000 miles and a banks ram air and banks exhaust we were told it had a banks turbo in it also but I don't know enough to confirm that it does ,I will try to find out for sure before the end of the auction.Im sorry the truck is a little dusty inside in the pics I live on a dirt road and didn't get time to detail it.I couldn't find any dents or scratches on the outside and the inside will clean up like new also,it will be detailed before you pick it up.It has dee zee running boards and weather tech floor mats,a spray in bed liner and the bed has never hauled anything since my dad has owned it and doesn't look like it hauled much before.

The 6.oL diesel has had the factory repairs that they all needed the dealer he purchased it from had done the repairs for the previous owner.the tires are 275/70/18 bfg at ko's the tread depth the inspection mech told me were 13,13,10 and 4 /32's the tires new have 16/32 my dad replaced the 2 front tires recently and it will need back tires in a little while (450.00 discount tire direct on ebay)

The truck is auto tranny 5 speed I believe ,electric shift 4wd the truck is a lariat and has a lot of options and gagets I might be missing a few because I only drove it for 2 days.It runs great lots and lots of power it pulls 30 psi of boost thanks to the banks equipment and drives down the road great.I got the truck inspected and put new  brake pads on the rear and  had to put calipers and caliper mounting brackets on because the caliper mounting bolts broke when the mech tried to get them off this truck is a good truck and has been well taken care of.thanks for reading and feel free to ask any questions or for other pics.

Total auto recalls already on record pace in 2014

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

If you've noticed that there have been more recalls than usual this year, you may be on to something. According to a report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the US market is on pace to break a record for recalls. In 2013, 22 million cars were recalled. We're only a third of the way through 2014, though, and we've already halved that figure, with 11 million units recalled. That's wild.
Considering the past few months, it shouldn't be a surprise that General Motors is leading the charge, with six million of the 11 million units recalled coming from one of the General's four brands. Between truck recalls, CUV recalls and the ignition switch recall, 2014 hasn't been a great year for GM.
Other recall leaders include Nissan (one million Sentra and Altima sedans), Honda (900,000 Odyssey minivans), Toyota (over one million units in a few recalls), Volkswagen (150,000 Passat sedans), Chrysler (644,000 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs) and most recently, Ford (434,000 units, the bulk of which were early Ford Escape CUVs). So while it's been a bad year for GM so far, its competitors aren't doing too well, either.

Ford Mustang returning to Australia in 2016

Mon, 15 Jul 2013

Australia's Herald Sun newspaper has reported that the next-generation Ford Mustang is heading Down Under in 2016, just as Ford is hanging the "Closed for Good" sign on its Australian manufacturing operations and sending the Falcon to its grave. Ford hasn't offered any official word on the matter, but the paper says that Ford's global VP of sales and marketing, Jim Farley, is flying to Australia to make the announcement himself.
While Ford converted Mustangs in the early 2000s from left-hand to right-hand drive for the Australian market and then sold them at high prices, it's been almost five decades since Ford imported a dedicated right-hand-drive Mustang to Oz. The arrival of the global model specifically made for places like Australia and the UK means Ford will also be able to offer them at better prices than the converted models; the Herald Sun says the price is expected to be "close to $50,000."
And that's for one of the "V8 performance models," which are the only ones Australia will get; Ford apparently won't send the turbocharged four cylinder or the V6. The Aussies could find out in a month from now whether this rumor is true. We will all find out what this Mustang fuss is about when the car debuts at next year's New York Auto Show.

Exceptionally rare '65 Ford GT40 Roadster prototype up for auction

Sat, 14 Jun 2014

Think of mid-engined supercars and your mind is bound to gravitate towards Europe, but the United States has been known to make a handful from time to time - exceptional vehicles from the likes of Vector, SSC, Mosler, Hennessey, and Saleen. But long before any of those came around, Ford famously became obsessed with beating Ferrari at its own game, leading to the development of the iconic GT40.
The story is well known, sending Ford to the checkered flag at Le Mans four times in a row in the late 1960s. Ford and Shelby also built over 100 for public consumption, but just four of them were roadsters. Of those only one remains in original condition, and now that exceedingly rare example going up for auction.
Consigned to RM Auctions for its mid-August sale during Pebble Beach weekend in Monterey, California, this 1965 model is the first GT40 Roadster built. It was used as a development and demonstration vehicle for Ford and Shelby. Carroll Shelby himself drove Henry Ford II in this very car during one of many test and demo events, this time held for Ford's board of directors in Los Angeles.
