Hi. This is a 1984 F-150 on a 1988 F-350 4X4 chassy. The truck is rock solid top to bottom bumper to bumper. The cab on the 1988 was in bad shape and would have not been worth fixing so I decided to find a real solid body from down south. The body on the truck is solid with no repalcement panels. It is all original sheet metal with no bondo. The cab corners cab mounts and floor boards and rocker panels are all factory and original rock solid. Thats why I decided to go that route. This truck is registered as a 1984 Ford F-150. All the paper work and title match the cab. The white has been repainted and the bronze is the original color. The paint is nice and looks good get alot of complements. The bronze dose have some minor hard to see dings. There is no rust or rot what so ever on this truck as you can see from the pictures. The frame is rock solid and thick. Has new shocks breaks front and back new break drums wheel cylinders break lines fuel line master cylinder. Truck has the solid front axle which alot of people perfure. The motor is a 351 Windsor small block that runs 100%. No knocks skips or smoke. Very tight motor. The transmisson is C6 Jasper automatic that shifts perfect. Truck has lockout hubs and shifts in and out of 4-wheel drive with ease. All u-joints are good and tight in this truck no clicks or clunks. The tires are 33-12.50-16.5. I would recomend tires for it because the back tires are getting down on tread and speedometer is a little off I think because of tires. Truck drives down the road good for a F-350 4x4. I hate to sell this truck but I am building a new garage this spring so could use the extra cash. if you have any questions my number is 607-657-8109 or my cell is 607-201-4528. You can drive this truck home or if you are going to have it transported I will help with loading but you are responsible for the shipping. I have not driving this truck in the snow. I am not driving the truck this week due to the auction. How you see the truck in the pictures is how you will get it.

Watch this Ford F-150 SVT Raptor fly like an eagle [UPDATE]
Mon, 04 Feb 2013The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is a very capable truck right out of the box, but "capable" has never translated into "invincible." Just ask the owner of the machine in this video. In it, the driver gets frisky with an aggressive jump with plenty of speed on his hands. The result is enough air to make Vaughn Gittin Jr. blush. As always, it's not the launch that's painful, but the re-entry. Gravity eventually asserts its dominance over the $43,630 pickup in a big way, and when it comes crashing down, it does so with a vengeance.
The impact was hard enough to set off both the alarm and multiple airbags inside the cabin. It's unclear if anyone was injured in the stunt, but we certainly wouldn't be surprised to hear that was the case. You can check out the stunt in the video below, and remember, when in doubt, back out of the throttle. Be warned, there may be some explicit/NSFW language in the clip.
UPDATE: Second video added with an even better look at the jump added below.
2015 Ford Mustang fuel economy ratings leaked
Thu, 21 Aug 2014Thinking about buying a new Mustang, but want to know what kind of fuel economy it'll get? Well we have our first indication as the pony-car enthusiasts over at Mustang6G.com have gotten a hold of the Monroney window stickers for a few of the new 2015 Mustang models.
Although the V8 model is not among them, we can now see how the EPA has rated those models with a half dozen pistons or less. The Mustang EcoBoost with the turbo four and a manual transmission has been rated at 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 on the highway. The V6 manual gets 17 city and 28 highway, while the V6 automatic squeezes out a bit more in the city at 19 mpg but carries the same 28 highway rating.
By way of comparison, the latest Chevy Camaro with the V6 and a stick shift gets the same 17/28 EPA rating as a similarly equipped new 'Stang, and the V6 automatic Camaro gets 18/27 (slightly behind the Ford, but if you opt for the Camaro 2LS with its V6, automatic and 2.92 rear axle ratio, you'll be looking at 19 and 30).
Ford gives police chiefs tech to surveil officers in their own cars
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Police officers certainly have a difficult job in keeping the streets safe, but as public employees in positions of authority, there is still a very real need for oversight. To that end, Ford is partnering with a tech company to offer a new system called Ford Telematics for Law Enforcement on its line of Police Interceptor patrol vehicles that could make cops safer, while giving cities a better idea of what its officers are doing.
The system streams live data about cruisers back to the home base to people like the police chief or shift supervisor. That info includes expected things like speed, location and cornering acceleration, but it gets incredibly granular as well, with records of things like if emergency lights are on, or even if an officer is wearing a seatbelt.
Ford Telematics for Law Enforcement "ought to protect officers as much as it protects the public," said Ford spokesperson Chris Terry to Autoblog. Constantly monitoring patrol cars offers cities a lot of advantages, too. First, it reduces potential liability because a department can prove where each vehicle is at all times. Also, officers know they are being watched and may potentially drive more safely.
