Up for bid tonight is an estate car from one of the estates we have done. 1963 Ford Fairlane...4dr...straight 6 cyl engine....this was just a great basic 6 cyl car of the day...this was used as a daily driver till a few years ago when he had got a newer car...there was no frills or fancy stuff with this car just great dependable transportation...think of the gas mileage this car gets...and it is simple to work on...so a great father and son project for him to drive to school...I just had my mechanic get it running for me the other day so still fires right up...
What this car will need...
There is a new front windshield in the trunk...it is missing the trunk lock...but will open with a screw driver
Some body work and definately a paint job
Will need interior work...but the door panels look good condition so you might be able to get a seat upholstery kit and do well with that...this model was so base it doesnt even come standard with carpet in the car...
This car is a great basic car...runs, drives and stops...there is no complicated electronics and I do have the air cleaner for it...I had it off with the mechanic when we were priming the carb...
This car is being sold AS-IS no warranty expressed or implied.
Any questions feel free to ask.
Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. This car is located in BELLINGHAM, WA...approx 90 mins north of SEATTLE...I will be more than willing to be there for the shipper to pick up the car...but the cost is totally the BUYERS responsibility.
I HAVE A CLEAR SIGNED TITLE READY TO GIVE TO THE NEXT OWNER OF THIS CAR...OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY...

Ford Focus EV's slow sales trigger massive incentives
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The Detroit News reports Ford is having real trouble moving its new Focus Electric. As a result, the automaker is offering substantial incentives in an attempt to lure in more buyers. How substantial? Try $10,750 off of a three-year lease. What's more, the EV can now be had for $37,995 ($2,000 less than its original base price) on top of an additional $2,000 cash discount to buy the EV outright - or you can opt for 1.9-percent financing if you work through Ford Motor Credit. None of which factors in various potential government incentives. Last year, Ford managed to sell a paltry 685 of the 1,627 Focus EV hatchbacks it built.
Ford isn't alone in trying to woo more buyers to its EV effort. Nissan cut the price of its Leaf by a whopping 18 percent for 2013, now down to $28,800 and built in the USA. The move followed the automaker's substantial incentives in 2012.
If you want a Focus Electric, you can now apparently get your hands on one for as little as $285 per month with $930 due at signing for a 36-month lease with 10,500 miles per year.
A tribute to William Clay Ford
Tue, 11 Mar 2014The passing of William Clay Ford has been a big event for the company he spent most of his life helping run. Ford spent 57 years working for his family's company. Considering the Blue Oval has been around for over 100 years, WCF's passing is the end of an era for the Dearborn-based manufacturer.
Ford's YouTube channel has issued a short memorial video highlighting the life of the longest-lived grandson of company founder Henry Ford. It follows William Clay from his time as a boy, showing him alongside his grandfather, through his younger years, and into his twilight, as the patriarch of the Ford family.
Take a look below for this touching memorial video on William Clay Ford.
Ford readying Ranger-based Everest SUV?
Fri, 21 Feb 2014Way back in August, we showed you a Ford concept for the Australian market called the Everest. Now, we can show you that work on the new Ranger-based SUV is well under way.
At this stage, it's still quite clearly a mule (note the misalignment of the front and rear doors), wearing the Ranger's front end and the rump of Ford's overseas Territory crossover. The wheelbase is shorter than a Ranger, according to our spy photographers, which strikes us as somewhat odd for a more passenger-oriented vehicle. Disc brakes should be fitted at all four corners, while the new SUV, which will almost certainly wear the Everest name, should sport a new rear suspension.
In terms of looks, we're expecting the Everest Concept to inform the appearance of the production model. Naturally, there will also be some interior tweaks, particularly around the dashboard, which is covered in these photos.
