I am listing my 1968 Ford Falcon Coupe.The falcon lays body.Car runs and drives. It has straight six 200 engine, 2 barrel carb,and aluminum adapter plate ,has a Comp cam,engine rebuild kit. Classic inline header, Chrome engine dress up kit,new gas tank, fuel pump, disc brakes added to front, drums redone in rear ,all suspension redone,front and rear bumper shortened tucked and smoothed, Tuff stuff alt, new floor welded in, floors and firewall FATMATTED . Underside of car completely cleaned, all welds ground and undercoated better than a new car. Has a 2 1/2 body drop from engine bay back, with suicide doors 4 link, car modified for four link suspension, 4 slam specialties airbags, 8 gallon tank,2 380c viair compressors,avs brass knuckles switch box, smc vavles.All the best air ride components Has Cpp chrome column modified for veh, dash pad re-wrapped in leather custom. All veh wiring redone ,custom exhaust, glass pack and tip that sounds great,3 inch Coker white wall tires.It has hood and grille , all interior pieces, needs new head liner, package tray. I just have not decided to paint it or not yet. Car has a lot of labor and effort put into it. And has been mine for the last two years since me and my friends started the build. 2015 Ford Mustang fuel economy ratings leaked
Thu, 21 Aug 2014Thinking about buying a new Mustang, but want to know what kind of fuel economy it'll get? Well we have our first indication as the pony-car enthusiasts over at Mustang6G.com have gotten a hold of the Monroney window stickers for a few of the new 2015 Mustang models.
Although the V8 model is not among them, we can now see how the EPA has rated those models with a half dozen pistons or less. The Mustang EcoBoost with the turbo four and a manual transmission has been rated at 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 on the highway. The V6 manual gets 17 city and 28 highway, while the V6 automatic squeezes out a bit more in the city at 19 mpg but carries the same 28 highway rating.
By way of comparison, the latest Chevy Camaro with the V6 and a stick shift gets the same 17/28 EPA rating as a similarly equipped new 'Stang, and the V6 automatic Camaro gets 18/27 (slightly behind the Ford, but if you opt for the Camaro 2LS with its V6, automatic and 2.92 rear axle ratio, you'll be looking at 19 and 30).
Hertz Penske GT latest hot Ford Mustang at the rental counter
Tue, 09 Jul 2013Just a couple days after announcing the resurrection of its Rent-A-Racer program, Hertz has revealed a new car being added to its Adrenalin Collection of rental cars. To signify its new partnership with Penske Racing in NASCAR, Hertz introduced a limited-edition version of the Ford Mustang GT, officially called the Hertz Penske GT, at last weekend's NASCAR races in Daytona. If you're like us, the rental specials remind with the original 1966 Shelby GT350-H and its later homage, the 2006 Shelby GT-H.
Visually, the Hertz Penske GT starts out with a black and yellow paint and graphics scheme as well as identifying badges, and Hertz has raided the Mustang parts bin for bits and bobs like a Boss 302 front splitter and Shelby GT500 rear valence to give the coupe its own unique look. The model has also receives performance improvements including upgraded suspension and exhaust, Brembo brakes, a retuned ECU and Recaro bucket seats. As a bonus, Penske Racing's Nationwide Series No. 22 Ford Mustang has been painted to match the new Hertz Penske GT. Other cars in the Hertz Adrenaline Collection include the standard version of the Ford Mustang GT, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Chevrolet Corvette convertible and Dodge Challenger R/T. For the second time in my life, I'm staring at an engine in the back of a truck with no concept of how to get it safely into the garage by my lonesome. The first time this happened, I dragged home a $300 International 345 V8 in the back of my Scout Terra only to discover that the bounds of my manliness terminated well before my ability to muscle that 800-pound cast iron block out of the pickup bed.
