For sale is a 2010 Ford Fusion Sport with just over 52,000 miles. Asking price is $15,500 or best offer, and I'm willing to negotiate with legitimate offers!

Key Specs:
MPG: 18/27
Current mileage: 52,xxx
Engine: 3.5-Liter/V6/263 HP
Layout: FWD, 5-passenger, 4-doors
Transmission: 6-speed automatic
Wheelbase: 107.4 in
Other extras: 18" wheels, Sport body kit, black leather interior, tinted windows, Sony speakers, moon roof, aux input, great AC, power driver seat, SIRUIS XM capability, Microsoft SYNC and Ford Touch enabled

It's the only Sport model of the Fusion, and handles, drives and rides better than regular Fusion models. The suspension is tuned to handle more like a sports car or a luxury model than a sedan. The V6 takes off and cruises really well, while still maintaining 18 city/27 hwy MPG. It's especially nice on the highway! I test drove both this car and a regular SEL Fusion and the Sport was worlds apart -- a much nicer feel and overall drive.

The exterior is dark red, interior is black leather. Features a dark tint and the Sport package body kit and spoiler -- it does not look like other Fusions! Plenty of front and rear leg room. Exterior and interior are both extremely clean -- no dings or scratches outside, and the leather is nearly good as new inside. I've babied this car quite a bit -- the interior is detailed with leather cleaner, dashboard protectant, ArmorAll, and carpet cleaner once a month. Hand-waxed once a year. Loaded interior package.

I've had this car for nearly a year and it's been absolutely perfect for me. No mechanical issues, and regular maintenance was always kept. At last oil change, the car checked out perfect overall. The only reason I'd like to sell it is I'm in need of a truck instead, and I'm looking to move it quickly. Dealerships will be making a push this spring after a slow winter, so bypass the salesmen and get an extremely clean car without paying $2000-$3000 more. With the Fusion Sport you get both a newer model, low miles, perfect interior and exterior, sports-car tuning and handling, and no mechanical issues whatsoever. Check any professional reviews online -- this is a high-quality vehicle.

Asking price is $15,500 and I'm certainly willing to listen to and negotiate with legitimate offers. Don't pay up to $18,000 like you'll see on other car sites. Feel free to get ahold of me to stop and look at it, or take it for a spin. I can deliver within a 200-mile radius of Ft. Wayne, IN (for a small fee) or you can pick it up in person.

Thanks.

Ford Mustang pinball machine has supple wrist, plays by sense of smell [w/video]

Fri, 07 Feb 2014

Ford didn't have anything major to show off at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, so it seems it instead opted to have some fun - it brought a row of pinball machines to the show. Yes, pinball machines.
We originally told you about the Stern Pinball Ford Mustang machine a few days ago, and as day two of the Chicago show is a bit of a slow one, we opted to head to the show floor and get some snaps of the bank of new machines. Not surprisingly, there's plenty for the Mustang fan in each of these machines, ranging frond different models, to logos to a full model.
Take a look below for our full gallery of live shots, available up top. Then head below for our original gallery of stock images, along with a video and press release on the new machines.

Ford EcoBoost smashes records at Daytona

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

Some mighty machines have lapped the banks of the Daytona International Speedway over the years: thunderous V8-powered stock cars, Le Mans-conquering Group C prototypes, open-wheel Champ Cars, knee-dragging superbikes... heck, the infield lake has even hosted powerboat racing. But this - this is the fastest car ever to lap the legendary raceway.
What you're looking at is the new Daytona Prototype being prepared by Riley Technologies for the new United SportsCar Championship. The car, released just last week, is powered by a new 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 from Ford's EcoBoost family, and just obliterated the top speed at the track with a blistering 222.971 miles per hour through the traps.
That's enough to annihilate the previous record that was set, also under Ford power, by Bill Elliott while placing his Thunderbird on pole for the 1987 Daytona 500 that he would go on to win. His 210.364 mph record had stood for 26 years until now.

2014 Ford Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost

Fri, 09 May 2014

I'll be honest; when Ford first unveiled its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, I was skeptical. Past attempts at building turbocharged American cars were almost universally awful, I reasoned, so why would Ford's latest effort be any different? This may seem foolish today, considering the success that the growing EcoBoost range has achieved - particularly the 2.0-liter and 1.6-liter mills. Yet I once again found myself questioning Ford.
It's the makeup of the 1.0-liter, turbocharged three-cylinder slotted into the compact engine bay of this Fiesta that has a way of breeding doubt. Three-cylinder engines remain an extreme rarity in the US. What's more, they earned a less-than-desirable reputation for applications in the 1980s and 1990s, and my trepidation about this latest three-pot as a result.
As I found out, though, history is a poor informant of modern technology. The thrust available in other cars with the EcoBoost badge on the back has not gone missing here; something the International Engine of the Year committee has lauded. That august body named the 1.0-liter Ecoboost the best engine of 2012 and 2013. After a week of driving, it didn't take long for my fear of threes to get turned into something like that line of thinking.
