Here is one awesome running 65 Galaxie with the original 352 motor. The interior is in not so good condition and you will probably want to cover it or have it replaced. The body has very minor dings here and there but the trunk was bent up pretty good, but still fixable.  I have done very little to this since I have gotten it other than, rebuilt the carb, got it running and screamed around the block once. It will need to be gone thru in order to drive it reliably. The brakes only work if you pump them, I have not inspected it to see what the problem is.. It will need a new ignition, I am jumping at the cylinoid to get it started. It goes thru gears easily. I am just trying to clean up the yard so I am selling this relatively cheap with no reserve (please don't try to offer a lower price)so that I do not have to part it out, it would be a shame to part out such an awesome car.
Please feel free to ask questions. I will do my best to answer quickly, or you can call 970-319-7786
I am willing to work with you on storing until you can get it transported, but deposit will need paid immediately (within 72 hours) after auction is over. and the remainder within 2 weeks (14 calendar days) or when picked up . Whichever comes first.

Ford moving medium-duty F-Series production from Mexico to Ohio

Thu, 27 Feb 2014

A few more Ford trucks will be built in the US in the near future with news that production of the F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks will move from Mexico to Ford's Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake, OH. Ford hasn't confirmed a precise timeline for the move, but The Detroit News claims the Blue Oval will make the shift later this year or in early 2015.
As Ford spokesperson Mike Levine reminded us, back in 2011, Ford announced in an investor release that it would shift production "after the [Ohio] plant stops current production of the Ford E-Series vans." According to that release, the Ohio factory will also receive $128 million in upgrades to build the new trucks, plus the F53 motorhome chassis and F59 commercial chassis.

Ford Mustang 50th anniversary edition brings in $170k

Tue, 30 Sep 2014

Just the other day, we reported on the first Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat selling for a whopping $825,000 at auction. But impressive as that sum was, the Challenger wasn't the only sought-after modern muscle car to cross the Barrett-Jackson auction block in Las Vegas this past weekend. So did this rare Ford Mustang.
The last of 1,964 special-edition 50 Years Limited Edition pony cars sold for a princely $170,000, with proceeds benefiting the Edith and Benson Ford Heart & Vascular Institute, a branch of the Henry Ford Health System.
The pony car in question is based on the 2015 Ford Mustang GT and upgrades with a performance package and nearly every option on the book, along with a unique appearance package to set it apart in celebration of the Mustang's 50th anniversary. It's available in two exclusive shades - Wimbledon white or Kona blue - with either a manual or automatic transmission. Only 1,964 highly symbolic examples were to be built, and this was the last of them.

Mustang Cobra Jet prototype garners $200k for charity at Barrett-Jackson

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

A few weeks ago we brought you news of a one-off Mustang Cobra Jet that Ford was donating to charity. The car was set to be auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Now that auction has taken place, bringing in an impressive $200,000 for MS research.
That's a lot of zeros for a Mustang, much less one you can't even drive on the street. But the unique pony car, bearing serial number 2014 BJMS CJXX1, packs a 5.0-liter supercharged V8, competition gearbox, wheelie bar, roll cage... all you could want, in short, in a turn-key drag racer. And all that for a good cause.
