1930 Ford Model A Coupster Hot Rod on 2040-cars
Huntington Station, New York, United States
1930 Ford yellow coupe transformed into a roadster
like they did in the day because it has a bit more room. It has a 47ish rebuilt
Flathead coupled to a 5 speed trans,37 Dashboard, Duval style windshield (not
installed), 37 Ford bucket seats or an original leather roadster seat with 1 tear(your choice) New aluminum
radiator (set up for a chevy but can be changed with included outlets) on an original boxed frame. The car
has no rust and has very nice professional body mods and paint. Take a look how
the doors mold into the 37 dash, (not very common)1 small baseball size dent on top
of quarter panel due to tent collapse. Not running at present and will need work
such as wiring, clutch, interior panels, brakes plumbed, etc. Not far from completion. Have many
parts that come with the car such as cycle fenders, both headlights, 37 dash gauges. etc. Never was a rusty New York car. The hood
and grill are fiberglass and not fitted to car. Winning bidder to pay $1000.00 deposit within 48 hours. Balance due within 5 days unless other arraignments are made and not with PayPal unless you want to pay the fees. Please look at the pictures and feel free to ask questions before you bid. More evidence GT500-replacement will be named GT350
Tue, 17 Dec 2013During the recent unveiling of the 2015 Ford Mustang, we saw the car in both V6 and GT form, but we'll have to wait a little bit longer to see the successor to the Shelby GT500. In the meantime, though, it looks like SVTPerformance.com has confirmed reports that this high-performance model will bring the Shelby GT350 name back to Ford.
According to the forum post, a user found the Shelby GT350 name on a Ford promo website listing its 2015 lineup. The Shelby GT350 name was first used on a Mustang back in 1965, and most recently it has been a model created for customers as a post-title purchase by Shelby American. As for that car, Shelby confirmed earlier in the year that its GT350 would be phased out at the end of this month.
The million-dollar question for Mustang and Shelby enthusiasts is when we'll see next factory Shelby GT350. Last we heard it was planned for a debut at the New York Auto Show. We've included our previous spy shots of this hi-po, sixth-gen Mustang, and we've also captured it on spy video showing off its exhaust note.
2015 Ford Mustang production starts in Flat Rock
Thu, 28 Aug 2014Today's the day, Ford fans. Production has officially commenced on the sixth-generation 2015 Mustang at the company's Flat Rock, MI factory. As production ramps up, sales should kick off in the coming months.
The production news isn't just a bit deal for American fans. With the new Mustang getting a bespoke right-hand-drive variant, the pony car's worldwide availability has swollen to include 120 different countries, including its home nation.
"Mustang is and will continue to be an automotive icon," Joe Hinrichs, Ford's president of the Americas, said in a statement. "Expanding its availability globally affords our customers around the world the opportunity to have a true firsthand Mustang experience - one unlike any other."
2015 Ford F-150 claims segment's best payload, towing ratings
Mon, 29 Sep 2014While we are set to drive the new, 2015 Ford F-150 in the coming days, there's a big piece of news on the latest-generation of the Blue Oval's bread-and-butter pickup coming out of Dearborn, and it focuses on the truck's hauling and towing abilities.
The new F-150 will have a maximum payload of 3,300-pounds (V8 models), and, perhaps more importantly, a 12,200-pound tow rating (EcoBoost V6 models), which for the first time are compliant with the Society of Automotive Engineer's J2807 standards. Those best-in-class figures are significant feathers in Ford's cap as the Detroit Three continue duking it out for the title of top pickup.
"As founding members of the SAE trailer towing committee, we will meet SAE trailer towing standards," Ford's Aaron Miller told Autoblog.
