This is a 1932 cab mounted on a 1941 frame. The truck has a clear New Jersey title in my name with passing inspection.
It has a 1946 Flathead with a 4" Merc crank, rebuilt 1934 3spd trans, new clutch and banjo rear with custom torque tube. The motor has about 3000 miles on it and was purchased complete & running from a friend. Speedo works.Runs and drives great. It also has an electric fan and new custom radiator,new wiring harness, full working gauges, gas shocks up front & air shocks in the back.Five new tires with 35 wire wheels, new mustang fuel tank and sender, all new brake & fuel lines. All brake components & wheel bearings are new. It's a ton of fun to drive and steals the show everywhere I take it. Unfortunately, it needs to go to complete another project. I have a box of receipts as well as metal for lower doors, cab corners & cowl bottoms. There are no side or rear windows. Please look at pictures & ask questions. Mays is by far not the first designer to use heritage design cues in his work.
The announcement that J Mays will be leaving his chief creative officer role at Ford Motor Company on January 1 ends a 13-year run in one of the industry's top design roles. While best known for having a hand in reborn classics like the Volkswagen New Beetle, Ford Mustang and Thunderbird (above), Mays' legacy is more complicated and nuanced than being considered the father of what is known as "retrofuturism".
Ford Transit Skyliner Concept does discreet luxury in NYC

They're cool, and as a means of getting chauffeured about, they're extremely comfortable and far more low key than your typical executive luxury sedan. For the 2014 New York Auto Show, Galpin Auto Sports has shown the potential of the new-for-the-US Ford Transit as an ultra-luxurious people hauler.
The Transit Skyliner Concept, which we previewed last week, sports four finely crafted captain's buckets that can be moved into different formations based on need. Want to watch a movie? The seats can be swung around to face a 52-inch screen. Riding along with some business associates? A table can be popped up. There's even a configuration for tailgating.
The materials are, unsurprisingly, pretty plush. The leather seats and wood floors (yes, wood floors in a van) look great, while the trunk and its customized luggage are a nice touch, as well.

Celebrities from the worlds of entertainment, sports, technology and more have generated untold millions of video views in support of the organization that is helping patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease), and generated a much needed influx of cash, as well. Recent reports have some $15.6M raised in the last two weeks.
