You are looking at a 23 T fiberglass roadster. This car was run at the Maxton mile for several years and has been parked for several years. This car has a 140" wb and was set up for a sbc and auto trans. it has a 8.8 with 270 gear and I assume a spool. Look at the photos and it will show a tuneau cover, very nice 4" drop axle, nice fiberglass nose. The side panels are steel and the hood is fiberglass. The front tires look like new but I would check the dates before You run them. This car was set up for running the mile course. The previous owner told me he ran a mild 305 with a turbo 350 and ran 146. With a hot little 350 this little car would probably run 180 or better. I have run over 200 at Bonneville and I can tell you there is nothing like feeling that chute open at over 200. This car will need some work! I would add some extra supports and clean up some of the welds. It would need up grades like new seat belts, fire system, ect. There is no Gauges in the car and no wiring. The Kirky Seat is small but the roll cage is large. I am 6'1" and fit well in the cage. It has corvair steering and all the steering system looks new. Rear tires would need to be replaced. Most drivers at the mile run drag radials on the back. I would put skinny front runners on the front. I have a Bonneville car which I just ran at Ohio and will be at Bonneville in Aug with it. I am selling this car because I don't need two. If you have a hot little sb sitting around ---well there we go! Buy it fix it up and join us at Bonneville this year. Please ask questions , I have a good ebay score and don't rip anyone off. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. This car does not have a title.

Ford wins second consecutive International Van of the Year award with Transit Connect
Wed, 18 Sep 2013The redesigned 2014 Ford Transit Connect isn't even on sale yet, but it's already making its presence felt around the world. At a commercial vehicle expo in Russia, the Transit Connect was named the International Van of the Year.
Ford's small work van edged out the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter by just seven points to allow Ford to grab this honor for the second consecutive year, which it won last year with the Transit Custom. Not only does this make Ford the first to ever win the award in back-to-back years, but it's also the fifth time the automaker has won this award since 2003 (two with the Transit Connect, two with the fullsize Transit and once with the Transit Custom). Ford congratulates itself for the accomplishment in a press release posted below.
2014 Ford F-150 Tremor adds some sport to shake things up
Thu, 27 Jun 2013Like most quakes, the 2014 Ford F-150 Tremor caught us by surprise. We weren't expecting Ford to offer up another version of its best-seller so soon before the truck's full redesign, but that's exactly what the company is doing.
While Ford calls the Tremor a "performance truck," the new pickup doesn't play on the same level as the SVT Raptor does on dirt, or even the long-gone SVT Lightning did on pavement. Think of it as a parts bin sport truck that probably does a better job looking the part than acting it. The Tremor utilizes the same twin-turbo, 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 available across the F-150 lineup, producing 365 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, but matches it with a 4.10 rear axle - the shortest final drive ratio you can get in an F-150 - for the strongest possible acceleration.
The Tremor does do a decent job looking the part. Available only in short-wheelbase, regular cab configuration with your choice of two- or four-wheel drive, it struts around wearing the F-150's FX Appearance Package, flat black accents, 20-inch black wheels, HID headlights and a special exterior graphics package. The Tremor is the only regular cab F-150 with a flow-through center console, which means it also gets a floor-mounted shifter and bucket seats that are covered in black leather with red piping. Some brushed metal accents and steering wheel with red stitching round out the interior upgrades.
Ford F-150 RaptorTrax is Ken Block's ultimate snowmobile
Tue, 21 Jan 2014Even when Ken Block isn't starring in the latest Gymkhana video or tearing up Global RallyCross courses, he's finding new ways to redefine "awesome" as it applies to motorsports. For evidence of this, look no further than Block's latest Monster-badged creation, the Ford F-150 RaptorTrax.
Billed as the "world's fastest snowcat," the RaptorTrax started life as a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, and then a set of Mattracks were put in place where the truck's bead-locked wheels and meaty rubber once resided. The goal was to create a truck that made it easier - and presumably more fun - for Block and his buddies to hit the slopes on their snowboards. Aside from the obvious track upgrades, this truck also received a Whipple supercharger, full roll cage, Recaro seats, an in-bed snowboard rack, a roof basket and a rear-mounted winch - you know, just in case something or someone actually manages to get this truck stuck.
The RaptorTrax will be on display later this week at the Winter X Games in Apsen, CO, but we'll have to wait until next winter for a full Block-worthy video of the truck. A full press release from Hoonigan Racing Division is posted below, and a high-res image can be found by clicking above.
