Mustang was rebuilt over a period of 3 years finished in 2008. Car was bought in Missouri. Had no engine when purchased. Bought a 1990 mustang and totally rebuilt the motor and installed the fuel injected motor. Motor is a V8 5.0 302 bored 30 over. Stock headers. Flow master exhaust. X pipe on exhaust. Pipes don't leave the car in the back, but rather leave the car on the sides. Car was cloned after Eleanor. Clone is not exact, but is custom. Paint is in great condition. Truck bed liner at the bottom of the car for rock protection when driving. Trunk Interior is also truck bed lined. Trunk is wired for subs and an amp. Subs and amp were sold, but wiring is already installed. Has a ford 9 inch rear end. New front tires and has just been aligned. Drives like a dream. Fast too with that 302 5.0. Transmission was completely rebuilt when the motor was rebuilt. Transmission is a racing transmission. Tough trany. We are private sellers and not a dealer. This car was a father son project and was done with a lot of love and tlc when rebuilt. Rebuild was done right. We have photos of the restoration process and will be glad to provide this to the buyer for a documentation of the car history. We will email tons of additional photos if you are interested in the car or are wanting to know something else about the car. Mileage on the odometer was what it was prior to the restoration. Actual mileage is unknown after restoration. Mileage after restoration was considered 0. Car needs some minor interior work. Vehicle took third in a Ohio car show.

XCAR stages epic drag race between Ford GT40, GT70 and GT
Mon, 19 Aug 2013XCAR has put together what it believes is a first - a drag race between Ford's legendary, Le Mans-winning GT40, the more recent GT supercar it inspired and the little-known GT70 rally car. The three mid-engined monsters were all built for very different purposes, and not surprisingly, they come to battle with very different powertrains.
The GT40 is powered by a thumping, naturally aspirated V8. This example, which looks like a Mark IV model, is likely powered by a 7.0-liter engine, although it's not entirely clear how much power it's putting down. The GT70, meanwhile, was Ford's response to the Lancia Stratos. Considering that the Lancia is one of the greatest rally cars in history and many of you are probably just hearing of the GT70 for the first time, you can imagine how much success Ford had with it. Only six were produced before a change in regulations doomed this mid-engined rally car.
The Ford GT, meanwhile, doesn't really need an introduction. 550 horsepower is on offer from a 5.4-liter, supercharged V8, which keeps the GT competitive even against more modern supercars. 60 miles per hour arrives in well under four seconds while the top speed sits at 212 mph. Not bad for a car that went out of production in 2006.

It's with good timing then, that our friends at Petrolicious have uploaded their newest, well-crafted mini-documentary to the expansive airwaves of the Internet. Here, we meet the brothers Ring in person - Mike and Jim - and see how they've lent they're passion for craftsmanship to their business, along with their surname. A 1964 Ford Fairlane dubbed "Afterburner" and a 1965 Mustang called "Producer" star in this show.
Ford adding stop-start to all major model lines
Sun, 24 Nov 2013Ford has gone all-in on its efforts to offer most of its new vehicles with a fuel-efficient EcoBoost engine, but the automaker is reportedly preparing to take another big step toward improving vehicle efficiency. Automotive News is reporting that Ford will soon expand the availability of start-stop technology, which was first offered - presumably the first non-hybrid vehicle, that is - on the 2013 Fusion (equipped with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine) as a $295 option.
The benefit of start-stop is reduced fuel consumption as it shuts the engine off at long stops, and AN quotes Ford as saying that drivers can save more than $1,000 on fuel costs over five years. Despite this, the option hasn't been popular on the Fusion thus far, but it could be more beneficial on bigger vehicles like the F-150. Ford also said that the next-gen Edge, which was previewed in concept form at the LA Auto Show, will be equipped with auto start-stop to help make the EcoBoost engines even more efficient.
