This car is perfect. There is nothing wrong with this car. It is perfect in every way."

You are bidding on a 2004 Mach 1 in Azure blue.  This color was only available in the mach 1.  This has the 305 hp DOHC Cobra engine.  It is equipped with a 4 speed fully electronic automatic transmission.  This car has NEVER been abused or in an accident of any kind.  All paint and body parts are original.  I am a professional who bought this car from a 60 year old gentleman last year in North Carolina. The car had 6200 miles on it when I became the second owner last November.  The man who owned it before me upgraded the exhaust to a stainless steel SLP catback exhaust.  The tail lights are upgraded to the vintage 60s sequential signal lamps.  He also added the the louvers on the rear window.  Just after i got the car last Dec.  I added a larger throttle body and a tuner from sct and bama performance.  It allows you to adust shift points of the transmission and adds about 2 miles per gallon.  I have driven this almost everyday to work since i got the car.  It is a great car.  I have just decided to build an older fox body and as much as I hate to admit it, you really can have too many cars.  I do NOT have to sell this beautiful car and will not give it away.

The oil has been changed every 3500 miles since it was new with mobile one synthetic.  It also has a cold air intake.
Those of you not familiar with the Mach 1 options are as follows.  They include the vintage style numbers on the instrument cluster.  The mach 1 only leather seat patterns. along with the wheels that are specific to the Mach 1.  The Shaker hood is functional and allows more air flow to the DOHC 305 hp engine upgrade for the mach 1. Of course you have the huge 13 inch front brakes to stop this machine.  These are the same brakes for the stock cobra performance package. The larger chin spoiler is an upgrade from the factory gt.  There is also an added mat black trunk trim outer piece.  The mach 1 trim is finished off with the 69 mach 1 style mat black rear spoiler.

If you are the winning bidder we can work out delivery or pick up.  I do have a car hauling trailer.  I can deliver deliver the car up to 500 miles for 1 dollar a one way mile. Or I can help you arrange for pick up.

If you have any questions please give me a call.  My name is Will 865-621-1050.  If you call please realize that I do teach during the day.  If you leave a message I will call you back at the time you request after 5 eastern time.

PS. iF YOU ARE AN INBRED MORON FROM ABBEVILLE AL WHO CANT READ,  DONT BID!!!!  Please forgive me for this statement.  I am tired of dealing with people who bid and then jerk me around with negotiation after the fact.  If you do not want the car  DO NOT BID!!!  I would love for someone to have this great car.  If you have any questions please call me at 865-621-1050

If you have less than 10 positive feedback I WILL delete your bid.

Good luck and happy bidding Thank you again,
Will

2015 Ford F-150 spied in the rain

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Standing as quite a contrast from the spy shots of the 2015 Ford Mustang we saw earlier today, our spies also sent along these pictures of the next-generation F-150 pickup out testing in its (heavily camouflaged) full prototype body. Much of the new truck's design is hidden under the bulky coveralls, but we expect a lot of its new lines to be inspired by the Atlas concept that debuted at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
Perhaps the biggest unknown surrounding the new F-150 is what, exactly, its body will be made of. Earlier reports have suggested that lightweight aluminum materials may be used throughout, offering a serious reduction in weight versus previous models. But Ford engineers will need to be careful, though, as they need to keep a tight rein on costs while preserving class-competitive (if not class-leading) towing and payload capacity.
On the powertrain front, the new F-150 will undoubtedly carry on with EcoBoost engines, and we'd bet on a normally aspirated V8 as well. A diesel option hasn't been confirmed, but we wouldn't be surprised to see one some time in the truck's lifecycle. Mum's the word on when the production F-150 will be revealed, but our best guess is that we'll see it at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

Ford F-150 bumps Camry from top of Cars.com American Made Index

Tue, 25 Jun 2013

With July 4th just around the corner, what better time could there be for Cars.com to announce that the Ford F-150 is the Most American car of 2013? This may be especially true since it was the Toyota Camry, a car produced by a company based in Japan, that had held the top spot from 2009 to 2012.
Cars.com compiles its Most American list by considering the amount of parts each vehicle uses that come from America, where it's final assembly takes place and how many units per year are sold. "While the assembly point and domestic parts content of the F-150 didn't change from 2012-2013, vehicle sales are responsible for bumping the F-150 to the top spot," according to Patrick Olsen, Editor-in-Chief of Cars.com.
As far as automakers go (as opposed to individual models), Toyota retains the top spot it held in 2012, with General Motors, Chrysler, Ford and Honda (in that order) rounding out the list. The motivation behind this list each year, according to Olsen, is "to help car shoppers understand that 'American-Made' extends beyond just the Detroit three" and because "a study we conducted in 2012 indicated that 25 percent of shoppers surveyed preferred to buy American."

Devils, Details and Weight Reduction
There are many things I could call this exercise. A party is not one of them.
I've spent three days crammed in the axle well of this 1989 Mustang with nothing to keep me company beyond a trouble light, a DeWalt drill on the very last of its legs and billion razor sharp, red hot slivers of metal with an affinity for my most sensitive of regions. My joints are raw from crawling around on the concrete. I'm half deaf from the shriek of the spot weld cutter and the boom of the cold chisel and hammer.
