This car turns head everywhere it goes! Unmistakable sound driving down the road. Can be as loud and rowdy as you like or shift into high gear and it quiets up for a comfortable ride. I purchased this car new in August, 2012 and have been the only driver. I have all paperwork including window stickers from the dealer and all maintenance records. This car has had oil changed approximately every 2500-3000 miles with full synthetic. Garaged of course. I absolutely love this car and hate to get rid of it, but I have a 1 year old and another one due in a month, which just makes this car too impractical for realistic use. I have personally hand washed this car from day one, and ensured this car has received only the best care and attention. **STILL UNDER WARRANTY** Roush offers a 3yr/36000mi warranty. So you are still covered for another year or 11,000mi. There are no real words that can describe this car, so check out the images below for yourself. Also, while this car was not driven through bad weather, the tires that come with it are summer tires. When the weather was nice and the roads were clear of salt, this car was driven in the winter with bridgstone blizzak tires. These will be included with the car as well. Both sets of tires (summer and winter) have shared the 25,000 miles so are in excellent condition with plenty of tread left on them both. RIMS ARE INCLUDED WITH WINTER TIRES AS WELL. Yep, that's 2 sets of tires and 2 sets of rims. I won't lie, the winter rims aren't as stunning as the summer roush rims, but for the tires, it becomes function over form at that point! If you've read this far, here is what truly makes this car unique and one of a kind! - Personally signed by Jack Roush himself (under the hood on the trim) - After purchasing from the dealer, I drove the car to Levonia, MI (roush factory) and had the car re-tuned and upgraded to the 2013 package. All the badging on the car says 540HP, but the 2013s were 565HP. All the paperwork (including dyno printout) are from the Roush factory showing the car put down 515RWHP... so this car is a real beast right at 600HP approximately. The upgrade from Roush included a smaller pulley for more boost and a slight tune modification. - Serialized plates hand signed by the builder at roush. Please feel free to ask questions or for photos of anything in particular you'd like to see! Thanks for looking!

Tanner Foust tackles 'Ring in SVT Raptor

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

Here's a math problem: if Tanner Foust has a 24 hours to kill in Germany and one blue Ford Raptor, how long will it take him to decide he wants to lap The Nürburgring? Extra credit if you can get your answer precise to the millisecond.
A very truck-like and slidey lap of the 'Ring is exactly what happened when the Ford-sponsored rallycross driver took time off from set-up duties for his 'day job.' Thankfully no one even thought to worry about posting a time, but you can watch some Raptor skid marks getting laid down between the kerbs in the video below.

Tier 1 suppliers call GM the worst OEM to work with

Mon, 12 May 2014

Among automakers with a big US presence, General Motors is the worst to work for, according to a new survey from Tier 1 automotive suppliers, conducted by Planning Perspectives, Inc.
The Detroit-based manufacturer, which has been under fire following the ignition switch recall and its accompanying scandal, finished behind six other automakers with big US manufacturing operations. Suppliers had issues with trust and communications, as well as intellectual property protection. GM was also the least likely to allow suppliers to raise their prices in the face of unexpected increases in material cost, all of which contributed to 55 percent of suppliers saying their relationship with GM was "poor to very poor."
GM's cross-town competitors didn't fare much better. Chrysler finished in fifth place, ahead of GM and behind Dearborn-based Ford, which was passed for third place this year by Nissan. Toyota took the top marks, while Honda captured second place.

Ford begins testing right-hand-drive Mustang

Wed, 20 Aug 2014

Ford has officially kicked off testing of the right-hand-drive variant of its sixth-generation, 2015 Mustang, according to a statement issued by the company, which came with the above photo.
According to Ford, this will mark the first time a right-hand-drive 'Stang has traveled down the company's assembly line alongside its LHD brethren. It is far from the first of the legendary pony cars to feature its wheel on the wrong side, though, as converters in RHD markets across the globe have been making swaps for years.
Ford is planning on using the white, droptop Mustang for RHD development ahead of the car's arrival in the UK, Australia and South Africa, among other markets. Scroll down for the official press blast.
