2014 FORD MUSTANG SVT SHELBY GT500 I am selling my 2014 Shelby GT500. It has 9,996 Miles on it. I purchased this vehicle NEW from Russ Milne Ford of Macomb,MI. This vehicle MSRP was 67,690. It is fully loaded minus the glass roof option. I added the Window Louvers at the time of purchase. At 35 Miles 3M Window Tint was applied and Xpel Ultimate Self-Healing Paint Protection Clear Bra Film was installed to the entire front bumper, side skirts, mirrors, and headlights, and hood. This car was serviced at 1500 miles and every 3,000 miles from that point forward. At 4,000 miles Walsh Motorsports of Wixom,MI the renowned Mustang center installed a JLT Carbon Fiber Intake, BMR Lower Control Arms w/re location brackets(increased handling), JLT oil catch cans, Ford Racing throttle body, and a custom made exhaust. Stock parts are included in the sale price. The vehicle was Professionally dyno tuned at Walsh Motorsports following the installation of these parts. This vehicle also has a set of custom made Forgiato Maglia-ECL wheels with the face painted RACE RED to perfectly match the stripe kit and the lips, bolts, and center caps painted TUXEDO BLACK to match the car. The Forgiato wheels have Toyo Tires mounted to them, 295s in the rear 255s in the front. Shelby caster/camber plates and Shelby Hood Struts were also installed. It has a Valentine Radar Detector hardwired and mounted to the rear view mirror. Not a penny was spared on this vehicle and it has been meticulously maintained. It has full factory warranty and the wheel/tire care package. This car out performs and out handles a stock GT500 by a long shot. It is pleasurable to drive and has an amazing sound.

2015 F-150 launch to curb Ford profits?

Thu, 30 Jan 2014

Ford is making a big bet on aluminum with its new 2015 F-150, and it's possible that the decision will hurt the company financially, at least in the short term. After earning a record $8.6 billion in 2013, the Blue Oval does not expect to set another record in 2014. According to Automotive News, that's "largely attributable to F Series," says Bob Shanks, Ford's Chief Financial Officer.
To retool for the new F-150, Ford will idle its Dearborn Truck Plant in Michigan for 11 weeks and the Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant in Missouri for 2 weeks. "3 of the 13 overall weeks occur during what normally is our summer shutdown timeframe," said Mike Levine, Ford Trucks Communication Manager, in an email to Autoblog. The extra 10 weeks will be preparing for the more aluminum-intensive construction for the trucks and will mean over 2 months of no F-150s being made. For comparison's sake, Chrysler boss Sergio Marchionne just confirmed that the 200 plant in Sterling Heights, MI will be down for 30 days to retool for the new model, but obviously there are many more F-150 production variables than for the midsize sedan.
Levine notes that Ford is already running three shifts at both plants, and says the automaker has plans to ensure that there is adequate supply of the full-size pickups during the retooling process. The company does not want to suffer a shortage of the vehicle that accounted for 31-percent of its 2013 US sales and an even bigger percentage of its profits.

Entry-level F-150 now offers SuperCrew, Sport Package

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

Ford has made a few notable tweaks to the lower end of its F-150 lineup, giving customers a more affordable version of the four-door SuperCrew body style. The popular SuperCrew could previously only be had on XLT models and above, but Ford has announced that 2014 F-150s with the base STX trim can get the more versatile body.
The STX SuperCrew brings the price of a four-door F-150 down from $34,525 to $33,145. Like the XLT SuperCrew, the STX will be available with the choice of a 5.5- or 6.5-foot bed, while a 5.0-liter V8 can replace the base 3.7-liter V6 for $4,425. Ford has not released pricing on the different bed lengths yet, but opting for the 6.5-foot bed on the XLT raises the price $1,240 and forces buyers into the 5.0-liter V8. We'd expect a similar arrangement on the STX.
The other big news for fans of affordable pickups is the addition of an STX Sport Package on the base-level truck. It adds 20-inch wheels, black exterior accents, black-and-gray cloth seats and decals on the truck's box. The Sport Package is available on all three of the STX's body styles, with Ford listing the price as $980 with current discounts.
