2006 Ford Mustang GT V8. We brought this car from a local Ford Dealer nearly a year ago as a project car and we are the second owners.
The project was simple and to create a Knight Rider replica. First job was to up grade the hood, bumpers, lights, grille, spoiler and Super Snake badges to match the KR series and of course get the whole car professionally resprayed. We used genuine Ford parts which with the respray cost just over $7500. I also went and brought the scanner, which was a show prop and the most important part of the replica.....this was $3600. The scanner is all wired but i haven't mounted it onto the hood just yet. I also managed to purchase the voice orb which is installed but need a car pc to run the software. This came from a true legend and enthusiast who produced the best Orb and other parts for the KR replicas. Look up Joshua on KRonline. I have also had fitted the GT500KR rocker panel stripes
I managed to get my hands on a brand new set of Shelby GT500 Super Snake Fifty Years 50th Anniversary 20" Alcoa Wheels. These are selling for around $5k on Ebay right now and will not get any cheaper as they do not make them anymore. I will sell these for an additional $3k on asking price. This car is about 85% complete and just needs the scanner mounting, car pc to run the voice orb software, and stripe kit although i prefer it without. I really don't have time to finish right now. Serious enquirers only please. May consider a trade with a SUV. Please contact me for further info.
I will be adding more photos or i can email them to you.
All the hard work has been done with no expense spared. Just needs finishing.
Please only bid if you intend on buying
Overseas bidders or bidders with a score of less than 10, please contact me before bidding
Thank you for looking

Weekly Recap: Auto execs face life in prison for recall delays under proposed legislation
Sat, 09 Aug 2014
The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
Next SVT Mustang may axe Shelby name, go naturally aspirated
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Following our first glimpse at the 2015 Ford Mustang out on the road, the fine folks at Road and Track have divulged some details on what the Blue Oval's next pony might have in store. We've already seen that the car will get some very sleek, Evos-inspired design cues, and an independent rear suspension is indeed in store. These new details, however, concern the muscle car's beating heart.
For starters, the base Ford coupe is expected to carry on with V6 power, likely from the same 3.7-liter unit found in today's car. From there, R&T says the next step up will be a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, likely displacing 2.3 liters, putting out as much as 350 horsepower. Of course, a Mustang wouldn't be a Mustang without V8 thrust, and R&T states that the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 will continue on into the 2015 car, making something like 450 horsepower.
But it's at the high end of the Mustang range where things will, reportedly, get very, very interesting. Road & Track claims that the top-shelf 'Stang will likely lose the supercharger from its engine, producing a metric crap-ton of naturally aspirated grunt instead. Additionally, the SVT-fettled Mustang will likely be dropping its Shelby moniker, in favor of "a name you're familiar with," according to the magazine (you know, like, Cobra).
Ford to pay $17.35 million over Escape recall
Thu, 01 Aug 2013Ford had a bit of a recall spree around this time last year, with a pair of issues on the then-new 2013 Escape, followed by a recall of 423,000 2001 to 2004 Escapes because they might accelerate of their own accord. Accordingly, Uncle Sam pasted Ford with a $17.35 million fine because it took too long to inform customers, according to a report from Automotive News.
Ford agreed to settle with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, accepting the fine but not admitting fault. The recall, which afflicted Escapes with the 3.0-liter V-6 along with 217,000 Mazda Tributes from 2001 to 2006 and 2008, was due to faulty gas pedals that could stay down after a driver removed their foot.
Ford issued a statement regarding the fine, saying, "We take the safety of our customers seriously and continuously evaluate our processes for improvements. While we are confident in our current processes for quickly identifying and addressing potential vehicle issues, Ford agreed to this settlement to avoid a lengthy dispute with the government."
