This is a great classic truck that runs well and always gets a thumbs up when driving around town or in a parade.  The motor is a flathead V8 with a three speed on the column.  All in good running condition. The tires and wheels are new.  There are new brake lines and master cylinder.  The back bed is all new with a new paint job.  The wood is mahogany with stainless steel runners.  The fenders where removed and professionally repainted.  The interior was recently redone with new head liner, newly painted surfaces, reupholstered seat and black carpeted floor.  The interior was sold as a custom cab with stainless steel window dividers and door panels.  The upholstery and seat are not original but are provide a touch of class to the interior.  The paint on the cab is in fair to good condition. It has a 6 volt system and all lights and heater work. All the gauges work. It has reds headers and dual exauhast.  There are several other chrome pieces that give the truck a great show quality.   Lots of local awards. Mileage on odometer shows about 24,000; however, I cannot represent actual mileage.

Shipping/Transportation is responsibility of the winning bidder.  The seller is not resposable for the truck once it is in the hands of the shipper.  Showings will be arranged only to serious buyers. Happy Bidding!

2015 Mustang-based Saleen S302 to boast as much as 640 hp

Tue, 23 Sep 2014

The Ford Mustang is obviously a famous performance vehicle in its own right, but it often works even better as a platform for the aftermarket to upgrade. With the all-new 2015 model just now hitting the scene, the famous tuners at Saleen are getting their improvements for the new pony car ready for the world. After recently teasing it, the specs for its fresh S302 model are officially here, along with a first look at it in profile.
Of course, the biggest question on everyone's mind is how much power the company can get from the Mustang's V8. With the 2015 V8 model rated at 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet, Saleen expects to bump the Ford factory numbers slightly to 450 hp and 410 lb-ft in naturally aspirated form, or with the benefit of a supercharger, it will rocket the engine's output figures to 640 hp and 565 lb-ft. No matter which powerplant a buyer chooses, there are a wide variety of available final-drive ratios with a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
Available as either a coupe or convertible forms, Saleen will offer its S302 in three trim levels - White Label, Yellow Label and Black Label. The White Label is the only naturally aspirated one of the bunch, but it still benefits from upgrades like a new exhaust, limited-slip differential, improved suspension, heat extractor hood and rear wing.

Watch how a Ford Raptor rolls down the assembly line in Dearborn

Sun, 30 Mar 2014

Bloomberg TV reporter Matt Miller is the proud new owner of a pretty killer truck. How do we know? The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time. Click through below to see how the truck is born, with a surprise cameo playing the part of delivery driver at the end.

Watch the Hennessey Ford GT makes its record run at Texas Mile

Wed, 27 Mar 2013

We said they'd probably be out with an official video, we did not lie. The Hennessey-powered camouflage Ford GT sat at one end of the runway at the Texas Mile sitting still. At the other end of the runway it had broken its own speed record, the twin-turbo 5.7-liter V8 pushing the aerodynamic supercar up to 267.6 miles per hour, a 4.3-mph improvement over the old mark.
There's not much in the video you haven't already seen, this just makes it official. That said, who doesn't want to see a twin-turbo Ford GT set an incredible speed record? You can watch it below.
