Offering a 1952 Ford F4 Flathead V8 Flat Bed With PTO Winch Complete W/1951 F1 Cab Shell
This truck is in good complete condition. This truck was originally purchased by a phone company.
It has a 9 ft flatbed.  The flatbed was manufactured by Chas Olson & Sons Inc. The serial number on the flatbed is 1061.
The model number is E7557.
It also has a PTO equipped winch.  This winch is very large and manufactured by Braden Winch Co.  The model number is M6-244.  The serial number is 5216268.
The only thing the truck is missing is the seat and heater.  Some of the glass is broke and needs replacement.
I did not test the truck to see if it runs.  I did pull the truck in 1st gear and the engine turns freely.  The truck rolls freely but there aren't any brakes.  The transmission goes in and out of all the gears freely.  The engine is 100% complete.  It did have antifreeze and oil in the engine.  All 6 tires do hold air but they are weather checked.  The flatbed is in very good condition but needs all new wood.
The steering is very tight.  The truck has some rust on the usual spots on the fenders but the cab and doors are very solid.  There isn't any rust on the bottom lips of the doors.  This truck also has 5 separate levers in the interior to run the PTO and winch.
The cab on the back of the bed is a 1951 Ford F1.  It's just the shell.  There is some rust on the floor & some dents.

Ford Everest Concept shows China also has an affinity for big trucks

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

The Ford Everest Concept SUV at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show shows the future of the Blue Oval's truck line in China. While a concept for now, we're told that JMC, Ford's Chinese joint-venture partner, will build a production version sometime in the near future.
With design from Ford's Asia Pacific design team, the handsome seven-passenger SUV shows off some very muscular styling with wraparound headlights that hook into the contours of the angular trapezoidal grille. The beltline rises up the body in the rear and makes the back appear higher than the front. The rear is made from hard, chiseled contours that give the truck a very tough look. The Everest looks ready for some rough roads.
Ford is keeping the interior and mechanical details about the Everest a secret for now, but the SUV is rumored to share some components with the overseas Ranger pickup. The company has no plans to sell the truck in North America. Scroll down to read the official announcement, including the few details on its production.

First retail 2015 Ford Mustang headed to Barrett-Jackson

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

Want to be the very first person to own a 2015 Ford Mustang GT? Here's what you'll need to do: be in Scottsdale, AZ on January 18 for the Barrett-Jackson auction and bring a very big checkbook. Having a passion for charity isn't a bad idea either.
Yes, the first 2015 Mustang to be sold to the public will be crossing the block at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, with proceeds from the auction going to JDRF, the charity formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
"Ford Mustangs have always been among the most popular collector cars at Barrett-Jackson Collector Car events," said the president of Barrett-Jackson, Steve Davis. "While every collector wishes they had snapped up the first Mustang sold in 1964, this is an opportunity to realize that dream in a different way."

Ford reveals all-new Everest SUV at Asia-Pacific forum [w/poll]

Thu, 13 Nov 2014

While the Explorer may have shifted from a truck-based sport-ute to a car-based crossover, Ford still offers buyers on the other side of the Pacific a Ranger-based SUV in the form of the Everest. And at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Beijing today, the Blue Oval revealed the all-new version you see here.
Previewed in concept form over a year ago and made specifically for the Asia-Pacific market, the new Ford Everest is designed to be more refined on the road and more capable off of it. Like the Explorer once was, the new Everest is based on a stretched version of the overseas Ford Ranger pickup. Depending on the specific market, Ford will offer the new Everest with a range of engines including a 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbo four and two Duratorq turbodiesels - a 2.2-liter four and a 3.2-liter inline-five - mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Earmarked to take on the likes of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (known in these parts as the Lexus GX) and the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the new Everest promises rock-crawlers even better off-road capabilities. It's got nearly nine inches of ground clearance, over 30 inches of wading depth, a 29-degree approach and 25-degree departure angles and a set of features including on-the-fly adjustable four-wheel drive.
