My name is Anthony Wahl, and I own Wahl to Wahl Auto in Cooperstown NY. This is a car that has been on my car lot for a little while and its time to move it to make room for new inventory. We have driven this car all over the northeast and have never had a problem. It just got back from a 9 hour road trip to south New Jersey today to pick up a new vehicle. The only reason I am auction it is to make room for new cars and decided to offer this for auction to the public instead of sending it to the wholesale auction. I would drive this car to Cali and back without hesitation.

This will be sold AS IS, with no warranties or gaurentees. If you wish to purchase it from my dealership without going through ebay, the price is $4495 and it comes with a 30 day warranty and a lifetime discount on parts and labor at our service shop and salvage yard.

This is a really clean car, almost no rust at all on the vehicle. NO MECHANICAL ISSUES OR CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS! Like I said, its on my car dealership lot right now, so I reserve the right to end auction early is someone buys it before auction end. We have gone through this vehicle very well and you will find nothing wrong with it besides a SMALL DENT in the left rear quarter panel. If you have any questions about anything, please give me a call. Anthony Wahl 607-286-7322.

We are also a BUY HERE PAY HERE, and offer inhouse financing if you would like to buy the car from us without going through ebay. We finance bad credit and no credit. We will need $1500 down. See our website to fill out a financing application wahltowahlauto net Our facebook page is facebook com/wahltowahlauto

This is from a dealership, so it will come with title and New York MV-50 and registration form. This will also be newly inspected at auction end. Remember, no warranty if purchesed through ebay auction. Buy it now price comes with a 30 day warranty.

One last thing. NO DOCUMENTATION FEES! Or any other hidden costs or charges some dealers add on, except one that is unavoidable...there is sales tax added to anyone that is not tax exempt. The sales tax here is 8%.

PLEASE PLEASE email me or call me if you have any questions.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my ebay auction.

2015 Ford F-150 pricing announced, aluminum-bodied truck up just $395

Mon, 28 Jul 2014

The eagerly anticipated Ford F-150 has had its 2015 pricing announced, adding only a small amount to the pickup's total cost, despite its weight-saving aluminum body. The XL and XLT entry level models only see a $395 boost over the heavier, current-generation, 2014 truck.
The XL starts at $26,615 while the XLT rings up at $31,890. The increase for Lariat is up a similarly negligible $895, to $39,880. Going up the ladder, meanwhile, the leather-intensive King Ranch sees the biggest jump of the F-150 family, with prices increasing $3,515, to $49,460. Finally, picking up the top-end Platinum trim will cost an extra $3,055, with prices starting at $52,155.
The higher prices are being blamed not only on the aluminum bodies, which trim up to 700 pounds of body fat, but on increased levels of standard equipment. While we were expecting a price hike, the fact that the 2015 F-150's volume trims - Ford spokesman Mike Levine told Reuters that the XL and XLT alone cover 70 percent of F-150 sales - have had less than a $400 increase is hugely impressive.

Ford Explorer, Expedition next to go aluminum?

Sun, 13 Apr 2014

Ford made some serious waves when it unveiled the latest F-150. Instead of making its bodywork out of steel, like just about every other truck on the market, Ford went with aluminum. And you can bet the F-150 won't be the last Ford model to go with the lightweight alloy construction, either.
Our compatriots at Edmunds report that Dearborn is considering replacing two of its most popular SUVs with aluminum versions. One candidate is the Expedition, which would make sense considering that the current model (like the two preceding generations and the fullsize Bronco before it) is based on the F-150's underpinnings. Another is the Explorer, which was traditionally based on the Ranger pickup but went with a car-like unibody chassis in its current iteration. If the Explorer does go the way of aluminum, don't expect it to be a part of its very next update, which is likely due too soon for such major changes.
It would stand to reason that, if the Expedition were to go aluminum, so would the next-generation Lincoln Navigator. Ditto the MKT together with the Explorer. But those aren't likely to be the only models in contention for aluminum construction. Like any other automaker, Ford is under pressure to steadily reduce its carbon emissions and improve its fuel economy figures, prompting it to look at a whole range of measures - including more efficient engines, lower rolling-resistance tires, active aerodynamics and lightweight construction. Expect aluminum to play a big part in that equation moving forward.

Ford family keeps special voting rights

Fri, 10 May 2013

Ford Motor Company has a dual-class stock structure of Class A and Class B shares. The roughly three billion Class A shares are for the general public like you and me, while the roughly 71 million Class B shares are all owned by the Ford family. Each Class A share gets the shareholder one vote, each Class B share is worth 16 votes, the result being that Common Stock holders control about 60 percent of the company while the Ford family controls 40 percent even though it holds far fewer shares. The only way that could ever change would be if the Fords sell their Class B shares, but even so, Class B shares revert to Class A when sold outside the family, so they'd have to sell a whole bunch of them.
A contingent of Class A shareholders think the dual-class system is unfair, and for the past few years a vote's been held during the annual shareholders meeting to end it. It has failed every time, as it just did again during the meeting held this week. A smidge over 33 percent voted to end the dual system, outvoted by the 67 percent who are happy with the way Ford is going - unsurprising in view of a corporate turnaround that will be part of business-class curricula for years to come.
On the sidelines, Ford elected Ellen R. Marram to the post of independent director, the first woman to hold the job. The former Tropicana CEO and 20-year Ford board member replaces retiring board member Irvine Hockaday who helped bring Alan Mulally to the CEO position.
