This SUV is offered for Sale NO RESERVE . It Looks runs and drives perfectly but is surplus to my needs . It belonged to my business partner and Realtor who lost his fight to Cancer after a 2 year battle You can read more about him at the johnmorrisfoundation.com I had intended to keep the SUV for my son to learn to drive in but he states its too big to learn in and I guess he is being sensible so I have agreed with him and placed it for sale NO RESEREVE. You are Welcome to carry out any trial or inspection . In fact I encourage it before you bid. Although new to e bay we run a very successful Real Estate Corporation over in Windermere Fl . You can purchase and bid with confidence and if you wish to read more about our company you can see us on line at Wendy Morris Realty
Whilst in storage the SUV suffered a key strike to passenger rear door and a scrape caused by inconsiderate parking of neighbors at the condominium complex it was parked at. These little marks in no way shape or form detract from the SUVS overall conditon which is excellent and presentable with no Known Faults. I have added pictures of the condtion issues in the last four pictures for you to ascertain the condition.
I am told by local GMC bodyshop that all would cost under $1000 to take care of all items if you were that way inclined. Would it drive any different ...No . Please consider this when making a bid. The mileage is very low at only 52,000 and the SUV has been fully serviced and has had only one owner from new. Title is clear . This particluar 2008 GMC Acadia has the 3.6-liter V6 that makes 275 horsepower Approx 16 mpg city/24 mpg highway. Towing capacity, at 4,500 pounds ( Factory Fitted Hitch System ) Standard safety features are generous and include antilock disc brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags, full-length side-curtain airbags and the OnStar communications system.

Lincoln, GMC clean up in AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards
Tue, 17 Jun 2014In recent years, there have been a lot of dire pronouncements made about Lincoln's future, or a lack thereof. But Ford's premium marque is like the Rocky Balboa of the auto business; every time the company seems ready to go, it comes back for more. Apparently, that dogged persistence is paying off, because the industry analysts at AutoPacific have put a big check in their win column with their newly released 2014 model year vehicle satisfaction survey. And despite recent enmity for its seemingly never-ending recall saga, it appears General Motors knows how to satisfy new owners, too.
In fact, not only was Lincoln named as the premium brand with the highest new owner satisfaction, even scored three models on the list of passenger cars with the most gratified buyers - the MKS, MKZ and MKZ Hybrid.
GM's stable of brands was also among the top companies in this year's survey. GMC was named the top popular brand by AutoPacific, with its Sierra pickup and Acadia crossover singled out for awards in their segments. Chevrolet also did incredibly well, with more cars on the list than any other brand. The Corvette, Camaro, Sonic and Impala all made the cut in their respective categories.
2014 Chevy Silverado details continue to dribble out
Wed, 03 Apr 2013PickupTrucks.com has gotten its hands on a few more details concerning the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and the 2014 GMC Sierra. General Motors held a conference call on the two trucks, allowing Jeff Luke, executive chief engineer for both, to answer a few questions. Luke said truck buyers are largely concerned with power and fuel economy, and as such, GM will continue to explore new methods of providing both. That may translate into any number of drivetrain permutations, including light-duty diesel engines, eight-speed transmissions or even a twin-turbocharged V6.
What's more, both the 2014 Silverado and its GMC twin will boast a tow rating of 11,500 pounds, but only when equipped with a max-trailering package. Without that special package, the rating drops to 10,200 lbs for regular cabs and 9,700 lbs for crew cabs. Buyers will no longer be able to opt for a 4.10 gear ratio.
We're also excited to hear that GM plans on making the Z71 package into something more than just a few a stickers. While Luke didn't go into details, PickupTrucks.com says "it will get significant improvements in the future." Head over to the site for a quick rundown of the call's highlights.
GM dealers unhappy about pickup prices
Mon, 21 Oct 2013The backlash is beginning. Following General Motors' price hike of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra last week, dealers across the country are expressing their ire over increasing prices in the face of rebates and discounts on trucks from Ford and Ram.
Speaking to Automotive News, Sam Pilato, the general manager at Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater, FL, Silverados are "selling very poorly." W. Carrol Smith, the president of Monument Chevrolet in the heart of truck country, Texas, said, "[GM's] position is that the vehicle stands on its own and it doesn't need a bigger rebate. That's not what the market is telling us."
According to AN, that's the general attitude amongst Chevy and GMC dealers across the country, where the twin pickups are getting butchered in sales by competitors offering up to $9,000 off their sticker prices. Part of the problem for GM is that its trucks are arriving on the market near the end of the current F-150's lifecycle, a fact that Ford has taken advantage of.
