1984 GMC JIMMY SIERRA CLASSIC 4X4-  UPON REQUEST WE WILL EMAIL MORE PICTURES, WE HAVE MANY OF THE UNDERCARRIGE, BODY, MOTOR AND INTERIOR. No matter what we have tried we can not get more to post. Sorry!

Runs and drives great, fly/bus/train in and drive it home. Windshield has a minor crack, A/C equipped but needs to be recharged, Power Windows and Locks both work, Power rear tail gate window, this was a California truck that had the extra emission's, We recently had it in the shop and had this eliminated, it now has a Edel brock Intake & Carb, having the emissions removed did cause the Check engine dummy light to come on, the dash needs to open up and the light bulb be taken out. As long as it has those extras pulled the dummy light will stay on.  While in the shop we also had fluids changed and tranny flushed. This truck is ready to hit the road! The original equipment that was removed is also included.

1000.00 worth of new tires these are studs but those could easily be plucked. there is about 500 miles on the tires.

Body is in good shape, there is some minor damage on the passenger side, as can be seen in the pictures. Very fixable, this is a easy restore or just a good solid truck for whatever you need.  As you can see in the pictures there is not the usual rust issues on this truck, it has been very well cared for it's whole life.

PLEASE NOTE THIS TRUCK IS FOR SALE LOCALLY, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS LISTING AT ANY TIME AND SELL LOCAL!

The interior is in fantastic shape, Odometer reads 52,xxx we believe this to be the correct mileage for the truck. From what we were told by the previous owner, they bought it about 20 years ago in California and rarely drove it, moved to Montana where it sat in the garage. It appears the top has never been removed from the truck.

Please ask ALL questions before you bid,  Deposit Via Paypal in 24 hours, THIS DEPOSIT IS NON REFUNDABLE!!! IF YOU CHOOSE TO NOT COME PICK UP THE TRUCK YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR DEPOSIT. WE WILL ONLY HOLD ON TO THE TRUCK FOR 30 DAYS AFTER PAYMENT IS RECIEVED, AFTER THAT YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO PAYPAL 50.00 AT THE BEGINING OF EACH MONTH FOR STORAGE FEES. WE RENT A PLACE TO STORE THESE RIGS SO PLEASE BE PREPARED TO PAY THOSE FEES!

No carbon fiber was harmed in the making of new 2015 GMC Sierra Carbon Edition

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

Carbon fiber is known for its properties of combining amazing strength with extremely low weight, and its frequent use in high performance vehicles gives the material a somewhat aggressive air. GMC is hoping to play on some of that mean reputation with its upcoming trio of Sierra Carbon Editions. However, despite their name, there's no actual carbon making its way onto these trucks (at least in the form of CF). Instead, the special edition is a graphics package with some extra equipment thrown in.
All three specials are based on the 2015 Sierra 1500 and can be ordered in two- or four-wheel drive configuration and with the standard 4.3-liter V6 or optional 5.3-liter V8. Things kick off with the standard Sierra Carbon Edition for $33,075, including destination, available only on the double cab body. Buyers get a black grille, carbon fiber decals on the hood and tailgate and body color trim for the door handles and mirror caps. The edition also adds keyless entry, a 110-volt outlet and LED cargo box lighting.
Buyers wanting just a touch more style can opt for the Carbon 20 Edition on the SLE double cab that gets the same exterior tweaks, plus 20-inch aluminum wheels, and retails for $38,275. Finally, there is the Carbon 22 Edition starting at $42,270 on the SLE in double- or crew cab models. It adds further black 22-inch wheels, tubular side steps, fog lights, keyless start, a universal home remote, dual-zone climate control and 110-volt outlet.

GM confirms 2015 Silverado, Sierra to get 8-speed automatic

Fri, 18 Jul 2014

When viewed alongside the next Ford F-150 and the Ram 1500, there is one thing that seems to be missing from the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. Where the F-150 will rely on turbocharging and aluminum architecture and the Ram sports an eight-speed automatic and an air suspension, the General Motors twins lack a big, calling-card feature. They're very good, very refined trucks, but one could argue that they're not terribly innovative.
And while it might not be as flashy a feature as air suspension or a lightweight skin, the Silverado and Sierra will get their own eight-speed automatic for 2015, a transmission that will be paired with the company's Ecotec3 6.2-liter V8. The new cogswapper will also find its way into the GMC Yukon Denali, but for now, there's no indication why the Cadillac Escalade, Suburban, Tahoe and standard Yukon are being left out.
According to GM, the new gearbox is about the same size and weight as the current Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed. By the time the new powertrain combination enters production late this year, the EPA will almost certainly have gotten around to certifying the vehicles' fuel efficiency. Until then, feel free to speculate. The current Silverado with the 6.2 and six-speed auto returns 14 miles per gallon in the city and 20 on the highway. How much do you think the eight-speed will improve those figures? Scroll down for the official press blast from General Motors, and then head into Comments.
