For sale is my 1969 GMC Fleetside truck. Here is what I know about it. 

I've owned this truck for around a year now. 

Chevy 350 runs very well (could use a minor valve adjustment, runs fine as is) Doesn't seem to burn or leak oil. 

Automatic turbo 350 transmission 3 speed shifts out well.

I've driven this truck to work several times which is a 70 mile round trip, no issues what so ever. 

I've also completed 300 mile round trip with no issues. 

Non-power disk breaks stop well, don't pull you off the road left or right. **break line has a small kink in it, driver side, I think happened while lowering it BUT doesn't leak or seem to effect anything. Disk breaks in front. 
** I have a power break kit for the truck brand new that I will include with the sale, I just don't have the time to install it**

Speedometer does not work. No cable when I purchased the truck. I have a cable that I think fits it I just don't have the time to put it on and will include with sale. **I've been using my TomTom GPS as the Speedometer** 

Gas gauge works fine. 

Windows roll up and down fine just a little stiff. 

New seat recover. 

Rust in floor boards which I covered with Licence Plates ** I was going for a "RatRod" look. No rust showing on outside of truck other than the front bumper and grill area which is not too bad. New rear bumper. 

All lights and turn signals work. 

New dash pad.

Next-gen GM SUVs caught wearing new boxy bodies [w/video]

We recently drove the brand-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and found it to be vastly improved compared to the outgoing model. And now that The General's pickup trucks have been squared away, it's time to focus our attention onto their passenger-friendly companions, the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon (above).
Our spy photographers have passed along a huge smattering of photos (and a video), showing the new SUVs out testing. Both the short- and long-wheelbase models were spied, and while the overall shape of the vehicles hasn't changed all that much, we expect the updates to be substantial. In addition to new powertrain options, like GM's new small-block V8, we expect the interiors of both SUVs to get massive makeovers, providing better materials throughout their cabins and quieter, more refined environments. We even hear that some trick new suspension developments may be in store for upper-end models.
Visually, these spy shots allow us to see a couple of new details on the SUVs' front and rear fascias, including LED running lamps on the Yukon and some interesting LED taillamp treatments. Of course, the obvious third party missing from this set of photos is the Cadillac Escalade, but as we reported earlier, GM is working to further differentiate the 'Slade from the rest of the fullsize SUV lineup, and is working to make the new model "much less ostentatious."

According to General Motors, owners "just love off-roading with [its fullsize body-on-frame sport utility vehicles]," namely the 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban and GMC Yukon. If that's the case, it's a bit odd that sales of the previous generation of these models with the Z71 off-road package didn't sell particularly well.
Perhaps, considering this disconnect between owner's thoughts and desires with actual sales, it's not surprising that General Motors is reportedly "considering" an off-road specific model. That means the package would include styling changes and badges along with suspension modifications and larger wheels with appropriately sized fender flares.
There's no indication if the off-road model would be called Z71 or when it may potentially go on sale, assuming it ever goes on sale at all.

GM planning to put its fullsize pickups on a big diet, too

General Motors is just coming off a complete redesign of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra for 2014, but in the US fullsize truck market, there is no rest for the weary. According to Reuters, plans are already unfurling for both trucks to drop pounds from their curb weight over the next few years, but this will unlikely be able to keep pace with the 700-pound diet targeted for the next-generation Ford F-150, a truck expected to debut late next year.
The biggest weight reduction for these trucks might not be available until the next full redesign, which will likely happen around 2019, but the article says that smaller updates could shave pounds in the meantime. Two examples given include an "aluminum-intensive" version of the Silverado that could shed 250 pounds and debut around the same time as the lighter-weight, aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford, and there is also talk of reducing weight for driveline components such as axles and driveshafts. These changes are all part of an attempt to meet strict new fuel economy standards coming in 2017, targets which will get even tougher in 2025.
