2.2 liter saves gas$$

2wd auto trans

NEW alternator, battery and starter!

This is a very rare GMC Sonoma step side truck with FACTORY sport suspension. It is garage kept and stored in the winter months. Previous owner but a boot between the box and cab, than patched it back up, boot is still installed if you want to remove patch. In a very heavy rain and your not driving, it leaks just alittle, but if your driving in a down pour it dose not leak. I took a picture with me pointing at it.  I keep in the garage and don't get caught in the rain very much. Driver side wiper blade is stripped out and I use rainX so I never fixed. Vacume line is cracked and is putting SES light on, a vacume code ( PO44a Evap System)  Its not spotless! but very clean dependable little truck. Due to all that you'll get the alpine digatal media player thats installed worth over $500 and you will get the factory cd player. Come take a look at it!! I'm 5miles south of waterloo.  The first one with $5,700cash or best REASONABLE offer will take home. Thanks

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.

Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon midsize pickup trucks to get diesel engines

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

The market for midsize pickup trucks has all but been abandoned in the US, but General Motors is about to shake the market up with the all-new (to the US) Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. Launching next year, GM already told us that its new trucks would be a "fuel-efficient alternative" to fullsize trucks, and aside from the smaller size, Automotive News says that these trucks will accomplish this with a diesel engine.
According to the AN report, the next-gen Colorado and Canyon will offer a small, four-cylinder Duramax turbo diesel with a displacement of either 2.5 or 2.8 liters - both engines are currently used in this truck for other markets. This would allow GM to join the Cummins-powered Nissan Titan and Ram 1500 EcoDiesel as the only non-HD trucks in the US to offer diesel. The article goes on to say that the diesel versions of the Colorado and Canyon would launch about a year after the trucks go into production in fall of 2014.

GM's fullsize SUVs boost highway mileage by nearly 10 percent

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

We met the redesigned 2015 versions of the Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe, and the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL at the 2013 LA Auto Show. Improved gas mileage numbers have been announced to go along with the improved exteriors and interiors, with city mileage improving by seven percent and highway mileage going up by nearly ten percent; you'll now get 16 miles per gallon in the city and 23 on the highway.
The only applies to models with the 5.3-liter engine, though, not the premium Yukon Denali and Yukon XL Denali SUVs with the 6.2-liter motor. Still, the 5.3 gets you more power than previously, with 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque underfoot, on top of the improved fuel economy numbers. The 6.2-liter sticks with official mpg ratings of 15 highway, 21 city. There's a brief press release below with words straight from the horse's mouth.
