For your consideration...2003 Honda Accord LX; one-owner, low mileage (66K+), well-maintained with service records included from the original purchase dealership (Lundgren Honda of Auburn, MA). The vehicle has been driven by my 75-year old mother. Unfortunately, due to health issues, she is now unable to drive the vehicle. The interior is in excellent condition with minimal wear to the driver's side and it's in pristine condition on the passenger side and rear seats. The vehicle has the original owners manual, warranty and all service records. The vehicle was purchased new at Lundgren Honda of Auburn, MA and has been serviced there over the past 10 years as well; all factory maintenance has been performed as well as new tires, brakes, etc...over the past few years. The vehicle comes from a smoke-free household and has no interior odors. The exterior does show some minor wear given its' age of 10 years. The vehicle has never been in an accident and shows only minimal surface scratches which may compound/buff out but I'll leave that to the new owner. Honda's first production jet takes off from North Carolina
Mon, 30 Jun 2014Plenty of automakers have backgrounds in aircraft manufacturing. BMW, Bristol, Mitsubishi, Saab and Spyker all started out in the airplane business. But Honda is going the opposite direction, expanding its automotive (not to mention motorcycle, ATV, marine engine and power equipment) business with the launch of the HondaJet. And that project has just taken a big step forward.
After starting production a year and a half ago, the Japanese industrial giant recently completed its first customer HondaJet, and has now taken that initial production aircraft to the skies for its landmark first flight. The aircraft left the production facility in Greensboro and took off on Friday morning from Piedmont Triad International Airport in North Carolina - the same state where the Wright Brothers undertook their first flight over a century ago.
The HondaJet undertook an 84-minute test flight, climbing to 15,500 feet and reaching a speed of 348 knots. That works out to 400 miles per hour - assuredly faster than any Honda (save for maybe a prototype for the same aircraft) has traveled before. The aircraft is designed to cruise at a maximum of 420 knots (483 mph) and reach a maximum altitude of 43,000 feet.
Honda next to open museum to Google Street View

Then we've got good news, because The House That Ferruccio Built isn't the only automotive museum in cyberspace: now the Honda Collection Hall has opened its doors to the crew from Mountain View, too.
The Honda Collection Hall, for those who haven't made it out to Japan's Tochigi Prefecture, is a grand three-story museum dedicated to all things Honda. It's located at the Twin Ring Motegi, and has been open since 1998. Inside visitors will find everything from robots and scooters to SUVs and racing cars. But if you can't make it there in person, you can check out all three levels of floorspace on Street View right from the comfort of your home. Honda unveils new 3.5-liter racing engine
Sat, 22 Feb 2014Honda is following Ford's lead and debuting the second twin-turbocharged V6 to be used by Daytona Prototypes in the United Sports Car Championship. The wait won't be long to see it on track because the new engine will debut with the Starworks Motorsport team in a Riley Gen3 prototype chassis at the 12 Hours of Sebring from March 12-15.
The new HR35TT engine is based on Honda's J35 production V6 found in a variety of its models, including the current Accord. The racing version benefits from dry sump lubrication, but is still similar to the production version with an aluminum block, direct injection and single overhead camshafts. It is fueled by 100-octane E10 fuel, but like many racing engines, exact power figures have not been released.
Starworks has had a close relationship with Honda since it won the LMP2 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2012 with a Honda Performance Development ARX-03b chassis and Honda engine.
