I have for sale a 2000 Honda Insight that I purchased from the orginal owner. He purchased it new and I am the second owner. I have every record that was done thru a Honda Dealer. You are more than welcome to go to any Honda dealer and pull up the service reports. A new IMA battery has been installed in the last three months thru the Honda Dealership. Cost was almost $3800.00. Oil has been changed like clock work and this car is like new. It has been garage kept it entire life. The tires are new and the interior is excellent with no wear marks. It has ac and heat and is a standard tranmission. The paint is like new and the only flaw is on the front bumper where the a pebble hit and I cover it with Honda red paint. I am not a car salesman but I looked a long time to find a car of this calibur. True gas mileage around town is 52 to 55 and on the highway you will get in the 60's. I know this is a bold statment but you will look a long time to find another car in this condition. Nada retail is around $5400.00 but you throw the books away on this car because of its condition. Honda fixes Fit flaw, improves performance on key crash test [w/video]

The Fit's grade on the small-front overlap test improved from "marginal" to "acceptable."
Back in March, safety engineers at Honda were disappointed when the much-anticipated 2015 Fit received a substandard grade on an important crash test conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
Honda adopts English as its official language in meetings worldwide
Mon, 25 Nov 2013Japanese was clearly the language of operation while we visited Honda's global headquarters in Tokyo last week, as well as its newest factory and principal test track. Chief executive Takanobu Ito (pictured above) spoke to us through an interpreter. But according to the latest reports, the Japanese language is being phased out at Honda in favor of English.
This according to Bloomberg, which points out that tire manufacturer Bridgestone and rival automaker Nissan have implemented similar measures, as have Japanese retail giants Fast Retailing Co. and Rakuten Inc. Honda's shift from Japanese to English comes as part of a shift in focus from central decision-making to a more regional model, but while English has clearly emerged as the international language of business, it's no coincidence that it's also the dominant language here in America. Bloomberg points out that over the 12-month period that ended this past March, North America accounted for a massive 47 percent of Honda's revenues worldwide.
Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
