Use to travel to New Jersey several times a year for business

The following are the work done on the car:

Axel, Ball joint, control arm motor mounts, compliance bushing, timing belt, tie rod end, transaxle mount, and front and rear brakes have been replaced by professionals. Battery was replaced in 2012. Wheel alignment was done. Four new Nokio all season tires ($800) with less than 10,000 miles. All repairs are $4600 + the tires $800 =$5400. All receipts are available. I always keep my car at its top performance condition to keep my family safe.  Cosmetically it is in great shape considering its age. It does have signs of normal use – scratches and dents. 2 small bumps on the rear bumper, someone backed into it on a parking lot. They were repaired. It drives smooth and solid.

If you are looking for a trouble free, affordable car, this is a best option. You can find a cheaper car but this one saves you money since it has all the work done. Clean title.

I accept cash at pickup only. I am not a dealer and so do not offer warranty. You are welcome to test it.

The car is listed on another site. If it is sold there, I will end the auction here asap. This is for local pickup only. Please arrange for pickup ahead of time. The price is firm.

Honda asking used-car buyers to sign liability document [w/poll]

Thu, 31 Jul 2014

New cars under recall must be repaired before a dealer can sell them but used cars are under no such mandate.
When it comes to informing the car-buying public about potential safety hazards on used vehicles, there are two emerging schools of thought among used-car dealers.

Honda is replacing airbags nationwide, not just in humid states

Tue, 18 Nov 2014

With a Senate hearing scheduled for November 20, the investigations into the exploding airbag inflators from automotive supplier Takata are just beginning. Honda is among the automakers most affected by the problem with over five million vehicles potentially in need of repair in the US, according to the last estimate from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. But the actual number being fixed could be even higher because the company is also working with worried owners nationwide.
According to the Associated Press, Honda is willing to perform the repair for concerned owners of affected vehicles who live outside of the high-humidity regions that the recall covers. In a letter to customers online, the company explains that it wants to work with them to fix the problem and even provide temporary transportation, if necessary.
"This is not a new thing, and it does not represent us including vehicles outside of those regions within the recall or investigatory campaigns. It is a part of our ongoing efforts to work with our customers individually to resolve their concerns, even if their vehicle is not technically part of one of those actions," said Honda spokesperson Chris Martin to Autoblog via email.

Toyota raises Japanese base wages for first time since 2008

Fri, 14 Mar 2014

Toyota is on track for record profits, and in return, its Japanese workers are receiving their first increase in base wages since 2008, plus higher pay based on seniority and a larger bonus for 2014. The Japanese automaker predicts the average laborer will net a 2.9 percent income gain.
The average Toyota employee will earn 2,700 yen ($26.28) more each month, a 0.8 percent increase from last year. Workers will also receive about 7,300 yen ($71.09) more monthly based on seniority and promotions. Finally, the company's union pushed through a median bonus of 2.44 million yen ($23,768) for 2014, the highest in 6 years.
The pay boost comes as Toyota forecasts a record 1.9-trillion yen ($18.5 billion) profit for the fiscal year ending on March 31, according to Bloomberg. It has been helped by the Japanese government's efforts to weaken the yen on international markets and expand inflation. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been asking businesses to increase compensation to end years of deflation and offset upcoming higher sales taxes. Honda and Nissan have also raised their wages there in recent months.
