This prelude runs and drives great! We have owned it since 2001 and have been very happy with the result. The original owner had the motor (H23) replaced at 86,xxx miles .. With factory honda short block engine .. To the tune of OVER 6000.00 ( receipts available) , ... I had it shipped from California on a flatbed trailer where it has since served us well .. Here in Indiana.
Great running car !!
The exterior shows many signs of rust, it has a fair share of dents and dings, and the paint isn't doing so well either. The hood was scratched up pretty good by a buddy..playing a prank...Ouch!!  The interior has a unique style that you won't find anywhere else, but it is also showing definite signs of wear. The windows have been professionally tinted. The SRS light turned on when the MOMO steering wheel was installed, and the ABS light has been on for a few years. The lights in the speedo needle are also in question. The audio components consist of an Alpine CDA-9884 receiver with Infinity speakers, and an iPhone 4 can be connected at the console.

The tires (205/65/15) are new last year ... To the tune of about 400.00 and are a little bit taller than the standard prelude tire, and the front tires tend to rub on the fenderwell every once in a great while. The rear brake system was another 400 last year as well. The battery still has about 2 yrs on the free replacement as well. The Greddy exhaust system was over 600 and  installed in 2010 and has a nice low pitch and isn't very loud.

Overall, this car has quite a few cosmetic issues, but it runs well and serves as an excellent daily driver. Feel free to contact me with specific questions.
Carfax will be ran tomorrow ... And a copy will be included with the sale

The 18" Enkei Chrome rims n tires will be included Free with purchase...though one rim is cracked...I was quoted 75.00 to repair

The tires show about 1/2 orig tread ... but no warranties are expressed nor included...just thought they should go with the car.. they've been in storage for a couple years

haven't found the centercaps for them yet..But will include them when/if I find them

Thx

Honda reveals more with Civic Type R concept bound for Paris

Mon, 29 Sep 2014

The reveal of the next-generation Honda Civic Type R has been a gradual one. First Honda showed us a camouflaged prototype, then let us drive one at its Japanese proving ground and followed up with a concept at the Geneva Motor Show. Now with the Paris Motor Show looming on the horizon, it has revealed yet another concept to keep hot-hatch enthusiasts on their toes.
The second Civic Type R concept appears almost identical to the first one - right down to the aggressive aero kit, quad exhaust tips, oversized wheels and ultra-low-profile rubber - but wears a new coat of Superman blue with go-fast decals. With its release, however, Honda has confirmed some of the salient details set for the production version.
In the nose sits a 2.0-liter turbo four with 276 horsepower and a 7,000-rpm redline, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Adaptive dampers and a "steer axis" system promise to keep the power under control, while a push of the +R button tightens up the suspension, steering and torque mapping.

Newest version of Honda's ASIMO coming to TV on April 15

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

Honda's ASIMO robot is moving into its teenage years, having originally been introduced in 2000, and like all teens, it's still learning. The bot has received regular incremental upgrades over that time, and the latest version will premiere on LIVE with Kelly and Michael on Tuesday, April 15.
The newest enhancements provide ASIMO with improved hand dexterity, the ability to use sign language, run faster, climb stars more smoothly, balance on one foot, jump and more. Honda says other new features will be demonstrated with hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan on the show.
The ongoing development of ASIMO, which stands for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility, is being done so that one day it can help humans who require assistance. The current version is 4-feet, 3-inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and is made mostly from magnesium alloy and plastic. A big limit is still its lithium-ion battery that only provides 40 minutes of charge. The robot has not needed human control to move since a previous iteration in 2011, which also improved its manual dexterity. It could even pour drinks.

Honda Civic Tourer reminds us why we love wagons

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

It was the early 1990s when the last Honda Civic Wagon graced our shores, looking more like a squat five-door hatchback with an extra dose of charm. Well, Honda debuted the newest Civic Wagon Tourer at the Frankfurt Motor Show today, but, as we reported last month, it's a European model that will go on sale there early next year. There's still no word of it coming to the US.
The Civic Tourer was designed by Honda's European studio, and its overall look comes across as more muscular, sporty and stylish than both the sedan and two-door coupe, with bulging fenders and revised windows. Adrian Killham, large project leader for the Civic Tourer, has commented on the styling, saying, "Recently launched cars have tended to follow a similar style. The Civic Tourer has a different balance and appeal." We appreciate the sentiment, and the Tourer's shape is a big reason why we like it.
But we also like the 22 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats up, which grows to a gargantuan 59 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down. The big Civic will be powered by either a 1.8-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with i-VTEC or a 1.6-liter Earth Dreams i-DTEC diesel engine. Manual and automatic transmissions will be offered.
