NOTE:  PLEASE CHECK MY FEEDBACK!  I have been (and still am) a 100% feedback eBay member who takes great pride in his listings and descriptions!  The reason my rating appears to be "New-User/0%" is due to the fact that I have not bought or sold anything on eBay in a couple years.  I don't like eBay's policy on this as I believe it is misleading for seller's like myself, so felt I should explain in case any lookers are unfamiliar with eBay's policy.  Again, you can look through my feedback history and see all positive feedback.  THANKS!!

** 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL w/ Sunroof, No Accidents*, Clean Carfax, Every Service Record Since New, Owned By Honda Employee, Needs Nothing, Drives Like New! **

Hello, we have decided to sell our Ridgeline due to a new addition to the family (our daughter born in July). This is my wife's primary transportation, but now that we are hauling a stroller instead of an ATV she has convinced me we would be better off with an SUV.

EXTERIOR:
This truck has all original panels, vin tags, no paint work that I can detect, no dings, paint looks nearly new aside from some touched up chips. Very slight surface rust inside gas door, but minor (and not visible from outside).

*Clean Carfax / no accidents, but carfax doesn't always pick up accidents; Autocheck does show the truck "bumped a parked car" in 2010, so I suspect one of the bumpers could have been re-painted at some point.  If so, the work was very well done (undetectable) and did not affect any metal panels on the vehicle.

INTERIOR:
The only interior wear is a little minor bolster wear on both front seats, and a light scratch on the plastic door card on the right rear door. Non-smoker, no stains, no smells, etc. Amazing condition given the miles.

MECHANICAL:
All service records since the vehicle was brand new are on hand.
The following have been DONE IN THE LAST 20,000 MILES, all by Honda techs with Honda parts and Honda fluids: Timing Belt, water pump, battery, valve adjustment, spark plugs, brake fluid, differential fluid, transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, coolant, new radiator (precautionary), air filter, cabin filter, oil change, wiper blades, brake pads front and rear.. possibly even more that I am forgetting.
Tires are all Michelin and all have 7/32" tread as of the last oil change which was a few hundred miles ago.

UPGRADES/OTHER:
All original parts come with the sale (and are pictured)!
OEM 2008 RTL wheels powdercoated black are installed, with OEM center cap H emblems from 06-07 Accord
OEM side steps
OEM Bug Shield
OEM 2012 SPORT headlights installed
OEM 2012 SPORT taillights installed
OEM splash guards installed
OEM undersear tray (row 2)
OEM Trunk Carpet
OEM Trunk Dividers
WEATHERTECH Floor Liners (original all-season mats included)

OVERALL:
This is a turn key vehicle that looks and drives like a Ridgeline with 30,000 miles or so. Buy with confidence knowing this vehicle has been cared for by a Honda Employee (and enthusiast!)

Contact me with any questions or offers.  Thank you for looking and good luck with bidding!

Honda HR-V gets early reveal

Mon, 17 Nov 2014

If the Honda HR-V feels awfully familiar to you by now, you're not alone. We've seen it debut in Japanese form (dubbed "Vezel"), caught a prototype in Paris, and Honda first showed us the US-spec version in press-photo form all the way back at the New York Auto Show in April. We're finally going to get all the details on Honda's new subcompact crossover this week as part of the Los Angeles Auto Show, but first, we're getting an early look at the CUV today.
We met the Honda HR-V for a cup of coffee this morning at Randy's Donuts just outside of Los Angeles, and got our first look at the new CUV in the metal. It's a handsome little thing, offering a higher-riding, more butch alternative to the Fit hatchback on which it's based. We particularly like how the rear door handles are integrated into the pillars, for an almost three-door look from some angles.
Technical details are still scarce as of this writing, though we expect those to be revealed during Honda's press conference on Wednesday. For now, we just know that the HR-V should be an incredibly practical little thing, using the Magic Seat system that has made the Fit such a versatile and capacious subcompact. Stay tuned for more, and see the HR-V from all angles in our live gallery, above.

Honda exclusive to McLaren at least until 2017

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

Next year Honda will return to Formula One after a seven-year absence, bringing the first Japanese automaker to compete in the top-tier racing series back into the fold. But though it started in 1964 much as it ended in 2008, running its own team (much like Ferrari and Mercedes do today), its new F1 program will see it revert to engine-supplier status (like Renault did when it sold its team to Lotus).
The arrangement will be exclusive to McLaren for the 2015 Formula One World Championship. But what fans and insiders alike have been wondering is how it might expand after that. Well, now we have at least part of the answer.
According to the F1 business insiders at Pitpass, Honda motorsport chief Yasuhisa Arai told a group of journalists at this past weekend's race in Shanghai that the deal with McLaren will be exclusive not only in 2015, but also in 2016. In other words, it won't be until 2017 at the earliest before Honda might begin supplying engines to any other teams, if at all.

NSX Concept-GT is the world's hottest way to boil water

Sat, 05 Oct 2013

The Honda NSX Concept-GT is one sexy machine, and it looks to be a very effective tool on a race circuit. But Honda's latest web spot leads us to believe that it also can be used to make tea.
In the video, the racecar is hooked up to an apparatus that uses tubing to harness the energy from the car's 500-horsepower hybrid drive system, using it to boil water. The novel tea-making technique reminds us a bit of a couple other inventive Honda commercials, namely Hands and Cog.
Watch the NSX ad below, and be sure to turn the sound up to hear that glorious engine note.
