I'm selling my H2 Hummer after buying a H1 I've always wanted, that's the only reason I would ever sell such a nice SUV. Fully loaded, Power and memory driver seat and power passenger seat. All four seats are heated. Everything works on this SUV. Added features include; color match white interior trim, Clarion Navigation touch screen stereo with Blue tooth, CD, I pod interface and XM. It also has a backup camera. It will come with 20" chrome Moto Metal wheels and good all season tires with 80 percent tread left. I am OCD about upkeep and it shows here. I already had all the fluids flushed and replaced including the Transmission, transfer case, front and rear differentials, Oil and antifreeze. I just had new rotors installed on the front, tires are rotated every oil change and the oil is changed every 3,000 miles. I also had the spark plugs changed. when the fluids were changed, I had the old fluids pumped out, not just drained. This is a SUV you can trust to run across the US without worry. The only down side is the gas millage, It get 11.5 on the highway and about 8.5 city and if you can handle that then you will not be disappointed. It drives really nice and can still get you about anywhere. There are some small chips as to be expected on any car this old. Good luck bidding. |

Turn Out the Lights: Final Hummer H3 rolls off the line... for Avis

Would the last one out the door please switch off the lights? The long strange trip that has been the Hummer brand is just about over for General Motors. The final ever production H3 rolled out of GM's Shreveport, Louisiana factory on Monday May 24, 2010 on its way to an Avis rental car outlet. As you may recall, GM had actually stopped assembling H3s in mid-2009 as it went through bankruptcy, but it resumed production recently in order to fill an 849 unit special order.
GM tried to sell the Hummer brand to Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machines Co., Ltd but the deal ultimately fell apart last February. A subsequent offer from Raser Technologies also went nowhere. Now that production has ceased, 200 of the 900 remaining employees at Shreveport will be laid off by July and the rest of the Hummer staff back at headquarters in Detroit is either leaving or being reassigned.
Report: Last-ditch sale effort for Hummer post wind-down announcement fading
Tue, 06 Apr 2010It's getting tough for even the most ardent supporters of the Hummer brand to continue to keep hope alive. Reports the aficionados at HummerGuy.net: "While many of us were hoping for a last-minute miracle to save the Hummer brand, signs from Detroit are indicating that Hummer production will soon cease indefinitely."
It appears as if General Motors has resigned itself to winding the brand down and letting it die a slow, agonizing death. The automaker says that it's no longer considering offers for the brand and dedicated Hummer staff are reportedly be assigned to serve elsewhere.
Oh, and about that "Save Hummer" summit that's planned for April 11th near Chicago? GM, though it is aware of the rally, has no plans to send representation. That sound that you hear? That's just the tolling of Hummer's death knell. Thanks for the tip, Brian!
Report: GM temporarily restarts Saturn Outlook, Hummer H3 production

Even though both the Saturn and Hummer brands are being phased out, General Motors has reportedly revived production of both the Outlook crossover and H3 SUV to meet consumer demands.
Last month, GM assembled 1,037 Outlooks at its Lansing, Michigan facility, which is where the crossover's Lamda platform stablemates (Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia) are built. A spokesperson for GM states that production was reinstated to utilize the rest of the Saturn-specific material at the facility, and that the automaker will continue to assemble the Outlook for a few more weeks.
