Hello thanks for stumbling in. You are bidding on a 2008 Hyundai accent with forty one thousand miles. This car is extremely clean and very smooth. Their is a small dent in the back trunk door I took a photo of it you can hardly notice it and i actually didn't till i washed the car i think a shopping cart hit it. You will find with the the cars manual transmission this car is very peppy with its power to weight ratio. Everything works and is good to go with a new oil change and professional detail job. If you have any questions email me at the bottom are terms and conditions of the auction. Their is a dealer title reassignment fee of 599 that will be added to the end of auction price. If you are paying with a check it has to be a cashiers check wrote against wells fargo or bank of america. If you have a check written against a small bank you will have to mail it ahead of time of your pick up. We will need a copy of your drivers license and for you to sign a power of attorney to have the title put in your name.
The new Accent design is cleaner, if not Toyota-like in its surgical lines. The styling isn't going to get people to look at it, its improved space, power and interior will. The new Accent is 1 inch wider, 1.8 inches longer and 3 inches taller than the outgoing model. The interior is much improved and the new 1.6-liter CVVT engine is rated at 110 hp and 107ft-lbs of torque. I included two shots from the press kit because the car on display has all the doors, hood and trunk open.

I, assistant editor Sam Smith, claim publicly that the Hyundai Accent SE is more fun than a Honda Fit! The Fit may have torque and sheer horsepower on the Hyundai, but the Honda's chassis falls flat under aggressive cornering--and ultimately fails to provide the kind of cheeky, chuckable, small-car goofiness we look for in something its size.
Where the Hyundai excels (no pun intended) is in the wholeness of its commitment. The chunky, often balky short shifter--a dealer-installed, B&M aftermarket piece--may occasionally feel a .  . The Hyundai, you see, is proof positive that this whole car business isn't always about pure speed. Yes, the steering is overboosted and far too numb.  Its chassis boasts a far more tossable, rally car-like balance than you'd find in the Honda or Toyota. Its snorty, rorty intake, combined with the car's goofy little chipmunk face, actually makes you laugh out loud. And when you're bombing down some winding country road, throttle foot plastered to the floor and speed limits unbroken, you start to wonder if there's any reason to ever have more car. Then, of course, you have some turbocharged Porsche or--horrors!--even your numbnuts neighbor with the old Volkswagen blow your doors off. And you stop wondering. But for a moment there, the Hyundai was all you needed. And that's why we love it. Click the link below to see for yourself just how fun the Accent can be.

Hyundai lets loose another Super Bowl ad

Thu, 31 Jan 2013

Another day, another Super Bowl ad from Hyundai. The automaker is planning to show off five spots during the big game, and seems hell-bent on trotting each one out ahead of time to garner the most amount of attention possible. We've already seen three of the ads, and the latest follows one young boy as he amasses a football team to take on a bully. His selections range from a set of body-building twins to a bear wrestler and a freakishly strong good Samaritan. The spot is intended to show off exactly what sort of uses you could come up with for the seven-passenger Santa Fe.
We understand Hyundai's push to roll out its ads ahead of time. Estimations from previous years indicate previewing Super Bowl ads can increase viewership by as much as 700 percent, but there's little call for this slow walk out. The company still has one more spot to show off, and we won't exactly be holding our breath. You can check out the latest ad below as well as the most recent press release.

Hyundai i20 shows what brown can do for you [w/video]

Thu, 02 Oct 2014

With the latest generation of the i20 at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, Hyundai continues to shake off its old image in Europe as a maker of cheap, unstylish little penalty boxes. This five-door hatch has to fit into the crowded, compact hatch market over there against popular entries like the Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Polo - a high bar for success. But the Korean automaker claims that its latest vehicle is up to the task because it's designed in Europe specifically with European buyers in mind.
The new i20 takes a small step a bit more upmarket with features like LED front and rear lighting and a rearview camera. However, the biggest change is the jump in interior room, though. The wheelbase is two-inches longer than before, and the growth gives the hatch best-in-class legroom and cargo capacity with the rear seats up, according to Hyundai. Rounding out the improvements is an available panoramic sunroof that the company also believes is unique for the segment.
For the Paris show, Hyundai made the i20 extra sweet by covering it in a chocolaty shade of brown to look like a little French confection on the show floor. Scroll down for all of the details about it, and for the impossibly epic launch video.

Hyundai Tucson 'The Walking Dead' special edition is real and wants braaaiiinnnnss

Fri, 22 Nov 2013

Hyundai's association with The Walking Dead is, for a lot of fans, limited to the spearmint-green Tucson that Rick, Darryl, Maggie and Herschel drive around on AMC's hit show. But the tie-up with the series extends beyond that, going right into the graphic novels that inspired the TV show.
In celebration of 10 years of Robert Kirkman's series of comics, Hyundai has built special edition Tucson that, unlike its previous zombie survival cars, is going to see production. "The Walking Dead" Special Edition Tucson uses the same 2.4-liter engine found in the standard CUV, with 182 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. In fact, this car is largely similar to your everyday Tucson, at least in terms of equipment.
It does add a few things which might be handy in the event of a zombie apocalypse, though. A Zombie Survival Kit, which Hyundai describes as a "Walking Dead 72-hour survivalist's backpack, a necessary item for any zombie 'prepper,'" is included, as are body decals for all four of the comic book's factions and a special splash screen on the navigation system. The exterior is finished in Ash Black and sports red accents, along with special edition badges. A cross-railed roof rack and mudguards round out the interior enhancements.
