I am selling my 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE 2.0T. It has the 2.0 liter turbo charged engine putting out 274 horsepower. I am the original owner and have the clean title in hand. Car is paid off so there is no need to take over payments or anything. The car has been extremely well maintained and all service/maintenance has been performed by Hyundai. The reason I am selling this car is because I am in the need of a larger vehicle due to a growing family. This car has extremely low miles at 16,730 (at the time of this listing). There are several options in this car and lots of extras as well.

The body is in excellent shape. No accidents, clean history. The interior has no scuffs, tears, or fades. I have kept it very, very clean. It was just recently professionally detailed. There is some curb rash on the rims (see pictures) but other than that everything is in absolutely perfect condition.

The car drives like it's brand new and with such low mileage, that is to be expected. I average 34 mpg on the highway and 23 in the city. Great power when you need it and excellent fuel efficiency.

Also, the car is still under factory warranty. 5yr/60,000 mile bumper to bumper and 10yr/100,000 powertrain warranty.

Some extras:
  • Tinted windows
  • LED daytime running lights (very rare on a 2011).
  • HID Xenon Headlights
  • Mud guards (OEM parts)
  • All work done professionally.

I really don't want to see this car go, but like I said due to a growing family we need a bigger vehicle. I am a very trustworthy seller on eBay, you can take a look at my feedback rating for that. Finances MUST be taken care of before purchasing the vehicle.

2015 Hyundai Sonata cheaper than last year, starts at $21,150*

Thu, 22 May 2014

Prices for the 2015 Sonata range from $21,150 for the 2.4-liter SE to $33,525 for the 2.0-liter, turbocharged Sport 2.0T.
The arrival of a new generation of a successful car is usually accompanied by a small surge in its price, ranging from a few hundred to a couple thousand dollars. Hyundai, though, is eschewing that practice, delivering its heavily redesigned Sonata for less than its predecessor. It's only a $300 difference over last year's base model, the Sonata GLS, but we don't think the savings will be lost on consumers. The move is part of a larger reshuffling of the Sonata line. The outgoing GLS trim has been replaced by the SE as the base car, while the 2.4-liter engine can now be ordered with the Sport trim. Meanwhile the 2.0T Sport is both the sole turbocharged offering, and tops off the Sonata pricing hierarchy.

Honda readying Veloster-rivaling concept for Beijing?

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

Maybe the rumors of the CR-Z's death have been exaggerated. Honda has just released the first teaser of a new concept that it plans to debut at the Beijing Motor Show at the end of April. It shows off a sporty looking coupe that looks like the child of a CR-Z and Hyundai Veloster. However, the concept looks to be for the Chinese market, as it's a joint proposal with one of its domestic partners there, Guangqi Honda Automobile.
Unfortunately, we don't have any other details about the concept yet - not even a name. The teaser also doesn't give a very good indication of the car's size. It appears to be roughly the size of a small coupe, and if Honda hadn't already tried the idea with the CR-Z, you could almost see it as a modern CRX, but it could be a little bit larger, too.
In addition to the coupe concept at the Beijing show, Dongfeng Honda will premiere the concept for the next Spirior, which is the foreign version of the Accord. Guangqi Honda will also bring a mid-size SUV and the third-generation Fit. Acura will also be there and will have both the NSX Concept and a model of its powertrain. Scroll down for the full release about everything Honda will show in China.

Hyundai in hot water over suicide-themed commercial

Thu, 25 Apr 2013

There's a surprisingly long and storied history of automakers creating suicide-themed advertisements. You'd think the companies and their marketing firms would have figured out by now that such ads always result in a swirl of backlash - see examples from Audi, Citroën, General Motors and Volkswagen, all pasted down below, as proof.
It seems somebody at Hyundai didn't get the message that many people don't find suicide a laughing matter. A video making the rounds on the web that was, according to Hyundai, produced in the UK, depicts a man trying to commit suicide by pumping exhaust fumes into the passenger compartment of his car. As it turns out, the self-assisted death doesn't quite go according to plan.
Scroll down below to see the ad from Hyundai, a slew of similar spots from other automakers, and an official statement from Hyundai. After that, we suggest reading this piece from our friends at AOL Autos to see how deeply such thoughtless advertisements can affect people.
