Here we have for sale my girlfriends Hyundai Tiburon, which has been babied and pampered just as much as she has.  No expenses were spared when it came to repairs or maintenance, which the vehicle easily displays.  The car is in excellent condition, with the leather, paint, and all consumable parts in near new condition.  You will be getting a car that is ready to drive for thousands of trouble free miles.  It as been garaged all year round, and parked for storage in the winter.  The oil is changer religiously with Mobil 1 full synthetic, with all other scheduled maintenance taken care of per the owners manual.  We have always used premium fuel, with It averaging 23 mpg city, and 27 mpg highway, which is quite impressive for a sporty car like this.  It has no rust, and the wheels are also in excellent condition showing no signs of corrosion or pitting.  The car has a premium Poineer AVH-P4300DVD head unit installed, with DVD, Bluetooth, HD radio, and iPod/iPhone connectivity capabilities.  It really brings the factory speakers to life, giving them a new level of clarity and depth.  All in all, this is a fantastic vehicle that will bring many smiles and miles of enjoyment to the next lucky owner.

Also, just to clarify, the salvage title was issued on 8/18/2007, where the previous owner had an incident with a divided highway median.  The car ONLY suffered body damage, no structural damage was reported (it would not have purchased in the first place if it had frame damage).  The effected areas were replaced with OEM parts and were expertly installed and painted.  All panels align as they should, the door closes properly, and up until a few days ago when she told me about that incident, I had no idea that it had ever been repaired (no overspray, rattles, squeaks, or anything indicative of low quality work).  The vehicle has a REBUILT title currently, and has been inspected several times since, with no problems whatsoever to report.

Hyundai teases updated Equus before Big Apple debut

Thu, 07 Mar 2013

The digital ink has yet to dry on some of our Geneva Motor Show coverage, and we're already shifting gears getting ready for the New York Auto Show. To help get us in the New York state of mind, Hyundai has released this shadowy image hinting at the refreshed 2014 Equus that it will be unveiling at the end of the month at NYC's Javits Center.
While we can't make out any major changes in this single image, Hyundai promises at least 30 updates to its flagship sedan including improvements to styling, cabin materials and ride and handling as well as advancements in advanced safety features and "driver technology displays." If we had to guess, the latter sounds like it might be something along the lines of a digital, reconfigurable gauge cluster. The only major difference we can actually see in this image are the new multi-spoke wheels, but we're sure Hyundai will be dropping some more hints before the official introduction on March 27.

Hyundai, ARK Performance combine for SEMA-bound Legato Genesis Coupe

Tue, 08 Oct 2013

The latest body-kitted Hyundai Genesis Coupe scheduled to appear at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas is the ARK Performance Legato Concept. In a nod to performance fiends, Hyundai built a stroker V6 good for 400 horsepower and 425 pound-feet of torque to really set the coupe off.
The extra power is a very good thing when one considers how fast the Legato Coupe looks. Speaking of the Italian musical term "legato," it translates to "tied together," and it was the theme ARK adhered to when it designed the car. In ARK's words, the the Legato conveys "the seamless integration of exotic design, tuned performance and luxury coupe interior ambience."
ARK's body kit includes front and rear bumpers, side skirts, deck lid and "wide-body cues." The 3.8-liter V6 was stroked to 4.0 liters courtesy of JE pistons, connecting rods and a billet steel crankshaft. ARK supplied an intake system and headers, and bolted on a lightweight pulley kit. An ARK oil cooler keeps the engine running at the right temperature. The tuning company also bolted on one of its dual-mass flywheels and carbon clutch kit to handle the extra power.

Ward's releases 10 Best Interiors list for 2014

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

While we're still a ways off from the automotive awards season proper, where things like North American Car and Truck of the Year, Motor Trend's Car of the Year and Car and Driver's Ten Best are named, that doesn't mean there aren't trophies being handed out to deserving automakers. Ward's 10 Best Interiors being one of them.
As the name might imply, the magazine focuses on the very best interior treatments in the US market. Whereas some awards purposely exclude extreme, high-dollar offerings, Ward's considers them - the only requirement is that a vehicle has a "new or significantly redesigned interior."
Ward's offered up the list of winners in simple, alphabetical order, and it only seems fair to do the same:
