Up for sale is our 2004 Infiniti G35 with only 112,000 miles. The car is an automatic, four door, with a/c and all electric everything. The car is a goldish/tan. Sorry for the first picture as the front of the car is in the shade, it is all one solid color. The tires are brand new, and the a/c was just recently serviced. The struts were also recently replaced. And it was also just recently aligned. The brakes were also recently serviced. Everything on the car is in good working condition, with the exception of the following known issues:

We have had the brakes checked by two different shops, because the ABS and SLIP lights are on in the car. The brake shops both tell us that the brakes are in good working condition, although there is a brake sensor out on the car. They told us not to worry about it, but if we wanted it changed out then we would need to bring it to a dealer. We havent done this, as everything seems to be working fine and they said its really not necessary. You are free to bring it to your mechanic to have it checked out.

We originally bought the car from a government auction. The car was seized by the marshals because it was used to run drugs. The previous owner had hollowed out secret compartments throughout the car, and because of this there are a few areas where the trim is coming off, as can be seen in the pictures. It could probably be fixed with a bit of super glue.

The Airbag light flashes in the car. We were told the car was involved in a previous accident, although the title is NOT SALVAGE. The damage was repaired professionally by an auto body shop, but something is going on with the airbag. We are not sure if this is from the marshalls removing the dash or the airbag previously going off.

The A/C makes a funny noise sometimes. It did this after we got it fixed. Its not bad though, its just a humming sound.

The car just recently developed a small oil leak. I havent had this checked out yet, as it doesnt seem too bad. My wife has been using it as her daily driver to work, so the mileage may change a bit.

Other than that, the car is in excellent condition and runs great. The dealer wrap was never removed from the floor matts, and the front ones are currently stored in the trunk. Several things have recently been fixed or replaced. Come check it out, and take it for a test drive. We are working on getting a new larger vehicle (van) and no longer need this one.

Blue book value is right around 10k private party for this car in excellent condition. If you were to get it from a dealer you would be looking at 12k. Because its got a few minor issues, we are auctioning it off with a very low reserve.

The car is located in pascagoula, ms. I can pick the winner up at the airport in either mobile, alabama or gulfport, misssissippi, both are around a 45 minute drive from me.

Winning bidder must pay a 500.00 deposit through paypal within 24 hours of the auction end.

Infiniti Q30 Concept uncovered in Frankfurt

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

The curtain has officially been raised on the Infiniti Q30 Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show, an oft-teased five-door hatchback that will move the neo-luxury brand downmarket to compete with the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class. Not only is Infiniti moving down market, it's targeting a younger audience, a field that it hasn't traditionally played in, that wants something different than a hum-drum luxury car. According to Infiniti's marketing director, Hugues Fabre, "Younger customers are coming into the premium segment with their own attitude toward premium-ness."
Infiniti's trademark styling elements are on full display here, from the radically kinked C-pillar and Q50-inspired headlights and grille, to the dramatic character lines on the profile. In the cabin, it looks like an extraterrestrial disco, with a lot of violet lighting, bronzed touchpoints and creamy leather. Ignore the concept car tinsel, though, and you'll see that Infiniti is dead serious when it says the Q30 foreshadows a production model.
We'll have plenty more of the Infiniti Q30, including live images from the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show floor, very soon. Until then, click over to our Frankfurt coverage page, scroll down for a full press release on the Q30, or click over to the high-res gallery.

2014 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid gives us d'ej`a vu

Wed, 27 Mar 2013

If we were totally lazy, we'd just copy and paste the text from our Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid post into this one. Why? Because the Infiniti JX35 QX60 Hybrid you see here is pretty much identical to its Nissan-badged sibling. At least, in terms of mechanicals.
But we aren't lazy... completely. Instead, let's have a quick recap. Engine: Supercharged 2.5-liter mill mated to a 15-kilowatt electric motor. Fuel economy: 26 miles per gallon combined. Interior changes: None - the battery does not compromise any sort of cargo or passenger volume. Price: Roughly $3,000 more than the standard QX60.
If you feel like the nitty-gritty details are necessary, have a look at the official press release below for all the goods. Otherwise, peruse the images in our high-res image gallery and tell us if you can spot the difference between the Q-by-60 and its Nissan twin.

Infiniti Q50 Active Lane control is scarily self-driving

Wed, 06 Aug 2014

Occasionally, we post videos that require us to tell you not to try something at home. They usually involve some unsafe activity that requires a high-degree of skill and planning to achieve. This video, though, gets a more interesting disclaimer: Don't ever try this. Ever. Never ever. Period. Seriously, don't try it.
Some clowns in Germany decided to put the Infiniti Q50's Active Lane Control system to the test. For those not in the know, ALC can make small adjustments to keep the vehicle in the correct lane, a feature that's just starting to pick up steam. Instead of using it the way you're supposed to - with both hands on the wheel - these guys not only take both hands off the steering, but at one point climb out of the seat while traveling at freeway speeds, just to see how automated the combination of ALC and adaptive cruise control really are.
Yes, we've seen this sort of stunt before, but it was done in extremely controlled circumstances that didn't put the cars, the driver or any other motorists at risk and probably had appropriate emergency personnel on hand should the worst happen.
