2001 Jaguar S-Type 4.0L V8  NO RESERVE!!

Hello,
No reserve auction up to the highest bidder.  Needing to sell, so the starting price is low as I can go.  The title is at my bank, and will be obtained after winning bidder pays.  My loan officer says I can pick up title same day as payoff.  Bank is in Mt. Pleasant, TX.
This car is really sweet.  I just don't drive it anymore, nor does my wife.  I'm currently out of work, and don't need the monthly payments of both this car and the full insurance required.
I took a lot of pix, and in some of the pix u can note that there are a couple dents, minor, and a couple scratches.  Please look at all pix, and ask me any questions.  The engine and transmission are both in good condition and strong running.  The only thing is the car sometimes takes 3 seconds to start up, I don't know why.  The other is that the headliner is loose in a few spots.  Not so much noticeable unless you just want to look at it.  The driver side fog light lens is broke, but the light is functional.  I bought it this way.  Rear tires are in good shape, plenty of tread.  Front tires are in good shape, I say plenty of tread, however they are the same 2 tires when I bought the car 7k miles ago, and they are mismatched.  The car currently has 76099 miles, and is clean.  A/C blows cold and heater worked last time we drove it, 4 days ago.  I start it, warm it up, drive it to a friends house n back every 1 to 2 weeks.  Oil is good.  Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic.  HID headlights.  No leaks, no engine lights.  I don't think you will be disappointed in the purchase of this car, I have really liked it and enjoyed. Wife n I still like it a lot and we hate to sell it, but we basically have no need for it and can not afford to just watch it sit outside.

I can deliver this car for $1 per mile, from me to you, anywhere in the US, after deposit and non-refundable fuel mileage is paid via PayPal.
Balance paid in cash is due at pick-up/delivery.  I can write you a bill of sale until I can get you the title, or you can follow me to get the title from bank.  Or, after any PayPal money due, deposits, etc, send a check or money order, and after clearing, I'll get the title and transfer paperwork, (unless you bring your own), all in hand and ready upon completing the sale.  I don't know what else to say or write, check out all the pictures, ask me any questions, call if you need to.  Also for sale locally.

Thanks,
Brent

Jaguar F-Type Project 7 arrives Stateside for $135k*

Thu, 14 Aug 2014

There are a great many things we love about the Jaguar F-Type, but one of them is that, whatever price point you're looking at, there's an F-Type for you. (Well, not any price point... this is a Jag we're talking about, but pricing varies greatly.) Got $65k to spend? That'll get you into a base F-Type V6 coupe, and you'll likely be happy for it. Eighty grand will get you into an F-Type V6 S, $90k into a V8 S roadster, and a cool hundred grand will get you the top-of-the-line F-Type R coupe. But what if you want to spend more than that? What if you've got more like $165,000 in your pocket and it's burning a hole when it should be burning rubber?
Well we've got good news for you, friend, because that's exactly how much the exclusive F-Type Project 7 will set you back. Making its US debut during Monterey car week, Jaguar has announced that the most exclusive version of its two-seat sports car - revealed in production spec just recently at the Goodwood Festival of Speed - will cost $165k in the US (plus the standard $925 delivery charge). That's roughly the price of an F-Type R and a base F-Type V6.
For all that scratch, you get an open-top roadster with 575 horsepower on tap - more than any production road car Jaguar has ever made before, and that includes the XJ220 and ultra-rare XJR-15 supercars. The most potent version yet of Jaguar's ubiquitous and long-serving 5.0-liter supercharged V8 is enough to send Project 7 to 60 in 3.8 seconds and on to an electronically limited top speed of 186 miles per hour.

2013 Jaguar XFR-S

Why Ask Questions When You Already Know The Answer?
"Is it fast?"
We get that question a lot. Several times a month, in fact, and it comes from every corner of our lives - friends, family, complete strangers and even colleagues from time to time. And it's an understandable query. After all, speed, either in a straight line or around a twisty bit of tarmac, is a universally accepted line of demarcation between the typical family sedan and something much more fun and therefore desirable.

Can a Jaguar XKR-S be drifted while blindfolded?

Thu, 27 Dec 2012

Bring together a 550-horsepower Jaguar XKR-S and a rain-soaked skidpad, and it's almost impossible to not end up in a sideways drift... accidental or on purpose. With that in mind, the gang over at Autocar got a hold of the monstrous XKR-S for the latest installment of "Will it Drift?," only they raised the stakes a little by attempting the feat with a blindfolded driver
We've driven the XKR-S a number of times here at Autoblog (including a First Drive, Review and Quick Spin), so we weren't at all surprised to learn that blind drifting in the car is possible. But what is remarkable is the ease at which it happened. This, of course, can be credited as much to the car as to the driver, Steve Sutcliffe. Check out the impressive video for yourself, which is posted after the jump.
