This Jaguar S-type V8 is a certified CarFax vehicle with extremely LOW mileage for the year. This is one of the best on Ebay by far and with the low miles on the 4.2 motor, will provide many years of sophisticated driving. Recently put new tires, new brakes, new serpentine belt, changed the oil (Synthetic), installed a new R-Type chrome grill, new oil filter and new air filter. All of this was done within the last 1200 miles. A color-matching touch up pen is included as well as a custom car cover which I use when storing the car. No cuts, tears or marks on the leather interior. Just a really clean Jag that I hate to get rid of. I keep this stored in my garage and never drive it in the winter weather. I have a detailed sheet from the previous owner showing the meticulous care he had for it and it details all of the work he had done to the car before I owned it. He also stored it during winters. All Jaguar manuals are with the car and I have a clean title in hand. Current PA inspection. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car that I can find. Most, if not all of the S-Types on Ebay have upwards of 90K miles and then some for this year, but I have taken great care of this car since I have owned it and kept the miles low to keep the car running and looking like new. Since the car is still in storage, the pictures are not the best of the car and do not do it justice. The car is in excellent condition. I can pull the car out and supply better quality photos of anything on the car, if needed. You would not be disappointed at all with this beautiful car. I have additional pictures if you want to see anything in particular, but I think the photos I have attached show the condition of this car. If you have any questions, just email me. Happy Bidding!

Jaguar envisions future without V8 engines
Wed, 21 Aug 2013With tighter emissions and fuel economy regulations looming, Jaguar may have to do more than make a small, fuel-efficient hatchback to lower its model range's consumption figures - it also might give up its venerable V8 power, Drive reports. But not anytime soon, says Steven de Ploey, Jaguar's product and marketing director, who recognizes that the V8 can be replaced only by something that offers the same, or better, performance. But he has a word of caution: "We are not wedded to V8s."
In the meantime, de Ploey says there are other ways to reduce emissions. One of the first steps Jaguar could take is to shift away from the use of superchargers, which aren't as good as turbochargers at maintaining efficiency and making power. But he adds that supercharging still is "at the heart of Jaguar's performance proposition," and that the company has addressed the current downsizing trend by "replacing our naturally aspirated V8 with a 3.0-liter supercharged V6."
Consider one of de Ploey's comments on the cancelled C-X75 supercar (pictured) for some clue about Jaguar's future: "Some of the stuff we have already exploited to the extreme in the C-X75 is the kind of thinking for us and is an essential test bed to see how we could evolve from today to something that is sustainable in the future."
Never-was Jaguar C-X75 hybrid supercar driven by Autocar
Mon, 24 Jun 2013There's lucky, and then there's "I got to drive the Jaguar C-X75." The crew from Autocar is among the handful of souls who can honestly make the latter statement. Jaguar invited the publication down for a little time in both the passenger and driver seats around the automaker's proving grounds. While there's no end to the jealousy oozing from our pores, the good news is that there were a few cameras on hand to capture the experience. As you may recollect, the C-X75 Concept was a unique hybrid supercar concept built to duke it out with the likes of the Ferrari LaFerrari, Porsche 918 and the McLaren P1. The British automaker put it on track for production, but unfortunately stopped the project about six months ago.
With a twincharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine capable of revving to 10,000 rpm, the C-X75 concept yields 502 horsepower and gets partnered with four electric motors - one at each wheels. A 19kWh lithium-ion battery pack serves up 300kW of power, and combined, the motors and battery are capable of yielding an additional 194 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Combined, the driveline is good for more than 850 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. Said another way, the C-X75 will do the 0-60 miles per hour dance in under three seconds.
And Autocar got to drive it. You can watch the video for yourself by scrolling below.
Jeremy Clarkson's Jag going up for auction
Sun, 18 Aug 2013Fans of Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson might want to make plans to be in the UK next weekend. On August 24, Anglia Car Auctions in King's Lynn is auctioning off Clarkson's black 1999 Jaguar XJR as part of its classic sale. According to the auction house, the Jag was "originally the daily drive" of Clarkson and has had one registered owner since.
Clarkson's former ride clocks in at 93,000 miles and has an estimated price of 2,500 to 4,000 pounds. At roughly $3,300 to $5,300 in US dollars, that could be quite a steal for a hardcore Jeremy Clarkson fan. And with a supercharged 4.0-liter V8 engine and lavish interior, it's a luxury sport sedan lover's dream.
This isn't the first time Clarkson has crossed paths with Anglia Car Auctions. Back in 2009, he and fellow Top Gear stars James May and Richard Hammond made an appearance at another vintage auction to buy vehicles for a future segment of the show.
