BEST PRICE ON EBAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please have financing in place before making an offer,Vehicle being relisted as previous bidders failed to get funds to pay.
Having owned pretty much all kinds of vehicles ( i normally change every 18 months) the XF is in my top 3, it has the balance correct in that it's sporty yet smooth on harsh roads.
BMW's have great handling but a firm ride, the Mercedes is smooth but under powered, the Audi is also great but not much of a looker. The XF is well balanced, smooth with the V8 providing great torque when needed. (Remember all others in the price range come with a V6) The driving position is comfortable for long distance drives. (of which I have plenty of experience!)
This XF was driven from the Catskills N.Y. to Westchester N.Y. 3-4 times a week for the last 18 months (that's about 720 miles a week btw.doing 25 MPG) otherwise parked in my Garage.
This vehicle is fully loaded, with heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel, Paddle shifters, Navigation, Blind spot monitoring, soft touch lighting, ipod connection, sunroof, rear sunshade, folding back seats etc, but my favorite detail is the Bowers and Wilkins music system, the system was voted 3rd best in all cars, see here: http://autos.aol.com/article/car-sound-systems/
As you can see the tires are in good shape, the Michelins were purchased 5 months ago for $1,500
The vehicle does have the usual minor dings for a vehicle this age (all received at the shopping malls of course!) I have included a picture of a ding i received 4 weeks ago on the front wing over the front right wheel, i am told it's an inexpensive fix.
I can email the vehicle history report on request, although not much to see as I'm the only owner. I relocated from CT to NY (the carfax will show 2 owners, however I bought the car after leasing term was complete)
If you have questions don't hesitate in sending me a email.
Unfortunately the bank has the title in hand, although the switch should be very quick as I'm financing with a small local bank.
I have already purchased my new vehicle, however I am open to trading for a Hardtop Mini for my wife.

Jaguar Land Rover puts the freeze on wounded soldier-athletes [w/video]

Mon, 21 Jul 2014

For athletes, the cold is often a powerful ally in treating injures, with RICE (rest, ice, compression and elevation) a popular means of treating muscle pulls, bruising and other common forms of discomfort. Did you know, though, that frosty temps are also popular tools for simply recovering from a rough training session?
Well, we're guessing Jaguar Land Rover knew that, as the British company was kind enough to loan out its climactic testing chamber to Jaco van Gass and Luke Darlington, a pair of veterans wounded in their service to Queen and Country. Van Gass, a former private in the Royal Army, and Darlington, a Royal Marine, are attempting to earn a spot on the British Armed Forces cycling team for the upcoming Invictus Games.
The Games, inspired by the Warrior Games held in the United States, are a sporting competition reserved for injured servicemen and women, either active duty or veterans, and is slated to take place from September 10 to 14 in London's former Olympic venues. Van Gass lost his left arm below the elbow after getting hit by a rocket-propelled grenade (he also suffered from a collapsed lung, punctured internal organs, severe shrapnel and blast wounds, a broken tibia and a fractured knee). Darlington, meanwhile, suffered a traumatic brain injury during action in Afghanistan, and he now suffers from weakness in his right side and cognitive issues.

Is Jaguar's 3 Series-fighter the brand's last chance?

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

The upcoming line of compact 3 Series-fighters from Jaguar, often referred to as the Jaguar XS, could consist of a sedan, wagon and possibly a coupe and GT model (think BMW 5 Series GT). The car's all-aluminum architecture also will provide the basis for two new sports utility vehicles. Just how important is the much-touted "baby Jag" project to parent company Jaguar Land Rover? A JLR executive reportedly says the brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS, codenamed X760, Autocar reports.
The brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS.
"If the X760 fails, it will probably be the end for the [Jaguar] brand," the executive says. But Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar's global brand director, claims Jaguar will "build the most advanced, most efficient, most refined car in that [compact luxury sedan] segment. Not almost as good as, but better than the best in the world."

Jaguar SUV mule doing Ring testing in Evoque clothes

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Jaguar has moved its Range Rover Evoque-bodied tests of the production C-X17 Concept from icy streets to the legendary Nürburgring, as work continues on the brand's first SUV.
Really, there's not a great deal of new stuff here. Based on the number plates, this is a different vehicle from the one we saw back in March, which we originally identified as the upcoming replacement for the Land Rover Freelander/LR2. The details, though, appear largely the same. The biggest distinction we can see between the March tests and this are the US-spec headlights, which add amber reflectors at their sides. Based on these shots, it does seem as if the C-X17 should be a fairly poised road vehicle, as the engineers hustle it around the 'Ring.
Of course, as soon our spies can capture images of a production-bodied C-X17, we'll be sure to pass those on to you. Until then, take a look up top for images of the Range Rover-bodied Jaguar as it tests at Germany's Nürburgring. You can also scroll down for our March images for the C-X17 mules testing on public roads.
