I purchased this car in 2008. I drove it for about a year and a half and then the motor dropped the timing chain. I then put in a supercharge engine with its transmission out of a 2000 XJR, it had about 52,000 miles on it. Ever since I CANNOT GET IT TO START. Everything bolted up correctly and the engine turns over, but I cannot get it to start. The car has fuel and compression but still won't start.
The purchaser of this vehicle will be absolutely thrilled IF they can get it started. The interior is in excellent condition. The exterior has just a few minor scratches, but no dents! During its downtime, it was stored indoors. However, the rear passenger side window did get broken somehow. Otherwise, everything is in great shape. BE SURE TO UNDERTAND, THAT IF YOU ARE BIDDING ON THIS CAR--YOU ARE BIDDING ON A CAR THAT DOES NOT RUN! I will answer all questions truthfully and to the best of my ability.

In addition to the kickoff of the show's second season, this episode also represents the start of a 24-episode sponsorship with Acura. The original deal promised short ads at the beginning and end of each episode, but this time around, Seinfeld "stumbles upon" a 2014 Acura RLX, which is obviously - and admittedly - the work of product integration. An alleged US order guide for the 2014 Jaguar F-Type has made its way online courtesy of the good people at F-TypeClub.com, documenting everything from wheel color options to special equipment packages. From the looks of things, buyers will be able to choose from a total of eight wheel designs in sizes ranging from 18 inches on the base model all the way up to 20 inches. While most of those rollers are available in either silver or black finishes, the 20-inch blade-style wheels are not only forged, but come with carbon-fiber trim. Fancy.
Depending on trim, F-Type buyers will get to choose between two types of seat, including a set of performance-style 14-way power adjustable thrones, complete with seat belts in black, red or tan. Other fun tricks include available power folding side view mirrors and a 770-watt, 14-speaker Meridian sound system.
Jeremy Clarkson's Jag going up for auction
Sun, 18 Aug 2013Fans of Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson might want to make plans to be in the UK next weekend. On August 24, Anglia Car Auctions in King's Lynn is auctioning off Clarkson's black 1999 Jaguar XJR as part of its classic sale. According to the auction house, the Jag was "originally the daily drive" of Clarkson and has had one registered owner since.
Clarkson's former ride clocks in at 93,000 miles and has an estimated price of 2,500 to 4,000 pounds. At roughly $3,300 to $5,300 in US dollars, that could be quite a steal for a hardcore Jeremy Clarkson fan. And with a supercharged 4.0-liter V8 engine and lavish interior, it's a luxury sport sedan lover's dream.
This isn't the first time Clarkson has crossed paths with Anglia Car Auctions. Back in 2009, he and fellow Top Gear stars James May and Richard Hammond made an appearance at another vintage auction to buy vehicles for a future segment of the show.
