22000 Jaguar XJR Powder Puff Garage Queen. 57,000 pampered miles Anthracite over ivory interior All new in the last year: All new hoses (even the heater hoses under the super charger) Upgraded rebuilt ported 5th gen Eaton Super charger from 2004+ XJR (more efficient with better bearings) Power output a little higher than the 370 HP stock 3rd gen supercharger. Upgraded Primary and Secondary timing chain tensioners, new lower pulley & Bolt Radiator flush with new Jaguar coolant. Charge coolers flushed and cleaned. 010 Bosch inter cooler pump upgrade. New EBC slotted front rotors, new Akebono dustless ceramic pads in all 4 corners Stainless steel brake lines upgrade in all 4 corners, ABS solder fix, new Dot 4 fluid New Bridgestone RE760 18” tires. Asteroid wheels, 3 flawless and one #@%& curb mark (see photo). Fresh 4 wheel alignment 5w30 Royal purple synthetic oil, new spark plugs, new water pump, new serpentine belt tensioner Flawless interior except for small amount of rear headliner sagging. Looks like it has never been sat in. All leather well maintained with proper moisturizers, like new, still soft. California car has lived it’s entire life covered in the garage, never stored outside. I’m happy to answer questions. I will ship cross country if needed. You will never find a cleaner, better cared for 2000 Jaguar XJR. All electronics work perfectly. Everything works. No leaks of any kind. Spots on driveway are from 1989 Toyota van in background with 280K miles.
There are a few very minor small cosmetic flaws, all of which are pointed out in photos: a few door dings in driver rear door (these will come out with a paint less dent removal), and one small nickel size dent which will need fixing and touch up, also shown in photo of passenger front of car. The headliner has a small amount of sagging as shown in photo. There are zero scratches or stains in the interior and/or burl, no cracks in burl. Other than those tiny flaws, this car is Mint condition. This car has lived a very pampered life in California garages. Currently in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.

Has the Jaguar XKR-S Sportbrake leaked out early?
Sun, 23 Feb 2014Want to haul ass down the Autobahn with the whole family and all their gear in tow? Forget that Porsche Cayenne or Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 - what you'll want is a power wagon: something like an Audi RS6 Avant or Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Estate. Unfortunately there are precious few of these performance station wagons on the market anywhere, especially with American offerings like the Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon on its way out and the Dodge Magnum SRT8 long gone. But there's a new challenger emerging.
That'd be the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake, a hi-po estate from Coventry that's been a long time in the making. And now it's apparently almost here. (Only by "here," we mean "there," as it's not likely ever to come to the United States.)
Apparently set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show is a Frankenstein-style cross between a Jaguar XF Sportbrake and XFR-S performance sedan, taking the best elements from both. From the former, that means the extended roofline that gives it the cargo capacity of a small crossover. From the former, that means a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 producing 542 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Which is hotter, Lana Del Rey or the Jaguar F-Type?
Fri, 15 Feb 2013Lana Del Rey's "Burning Desire" video, the first musical collaboration between Jaguar and its hired songstress, is half music video, half long-form lifestyle commercial for the 2014 F-Type. If you like Del Rey channeling glamorous fifties fame as she lays down vocals of sensuous, languid dolor over images of black-and-white yesteryears, you'll like this song off of her new EP, Paradise.
We think the appearance of a red and brand-new Jaguar, though, is incongruous - either Del Rey or Jaguar is the anachronism, take your pic. That's not to say it's not beautiful, however, so enjoy the combination in the video below.
Jaguar readying a pop-top F-Type Coupe? [w/poll]
Mon, 17 Feb 2014Typically convertibles are spun off of coupes, but sometimes it goes the other way. Like the Porsche Cayman that was based on the Boxster, the Lotus Exige spun off of the Elise, and the Jaguar F-Type, which arrived as a roadster before the coupe debuted. But if the latest reports are to be believed, Jaguar could be planning something in between.
According to Auto Express (which has, mind you, been known to stretch the rumors out some), Jaguar is toying with the idea of offering a partial convertible version of the F-Type - something Porsche would call a Targa (and which we would too if Stuttgart weren't so litigiously protective of the name). The additional roof configuration would give the F-Type three body-styles, giving its customers more choices.
It wouldn't be the only sports car to offer three roof options: There's the Porsche 911, of course. Ferrari once offered GTB, GTS and Spider versions of the 348 and 355. The Chevy Corvette has been offered in all three forms, as was the Pontiac Solstice many moons ago. But that kind of variety in roof configurations has become scarce. Jaguar's decision reportedly depends on whether it can make the business case or not. Do you think there'd be enough demand for a lift-roof F-Type?
